Improved Samurai Set Colormap - Better Faction Colors

Lightweight mod that lets the fabric sections of the Samurai Clothpants and Legplates be dyed to faction primary. As a bonus, the armbands of the Empire Samurai Chestplate will be dyed faction primary as well.

Huge improvement to the uniformity of many factions, especially UC ones and ninjas. I was surprised how common the clothpants were.


The Samurai Clothpants texture in vanilla has a weird issue where a leather strap just abruptly ends. Originally, this mod had my Samurai Legplates Recolor as a dependency because the first draft of colormaps took the fixed version of the texture into account.

However, it felt scummy to force a dependency for one of my mods. Thus, this mod's colormaps were remade without the fixed-up texture in mind.

The linked recolor has a built-in patch for this mod that uses the improved colormaps made for the fixed version of the texture, so you can have the best of both worlds. Regardless, both of these mods are completely independent and don't need the other to function.
