How to sit

In this guide I will teach you about the art of sitting in Valheim

Basics

To sit, press X on your keyboard or the corresponding button on your controller. The result should look approximately like this:

Advanced sitting

Later on in the game, you will be able to create furniture such as chairs and take your sitting to a whole new level! Chairs and benches might be a bit trickier than basic sitting, though. Instead of pressing X to sit on them, you actually have to press the E key on your keyboard or the corresponding controller button! This might be hard to remember, but practice makes perfect!

However, you should never forget the basics! Any piece of furniture is potentially a mindblowingly good place to sit on! Applying the basics above, we can use e.g. a table to practice sitting!

The possibilities of sitting are vast, so it is impossible to go through everything in a guide. The true joy of sitting can be discovered in surprising situations, so do a lot of experimenting whenever possible to discover your own style! Hopefully this guide ignites your passion for sitting!

We found another helpfunl sitting mechanic (Caution, it is seriosly helpful): You can sit in the water if you wait for stamina, so waves cant turn you back in swimming mode. :). Please add!

All those Sitting Mechanics are so unfair. i Can't sit through Portals, everytime i Sit, i die and everytime i see a Boss and try to sit, i die as well. I trtied sitting with a Fur-Relaxo and i Died. What is this game? it is so unbalanced.
