Finish the “Queen of Ecstasy” chapter.

Meet Amanda Moon.



A Damsel in Distress
Set off to rescue Lily.



Poor Tim
Beat Tim.



Where You Belong
Join the Cult of Ecstasy.



The Chosen One
Make love to Amanda in the Trinity Chamber.



The Great Liberator
Get the Mask of Ughro’ecna.



Rage Under Control
Beat Amanda.

Missable Achievements

These are missable achievements listed in the order you should unlock them.

Chapter II: Victor Holloway

Nevermore
Get rid of Victor’s fleshlight.


You can get this achievement while in Victor's house, the fleshlight is in the left bedside table drawer. Simply put it in the trashcan in the kitchen for the achievement.

Chapter III: Stranger

Curious
Ask every possible question during your telephone conversation with Dr. Austerlitz.


Simple achievement, just choose all 3 of the dialogue options when you call Dr. Austerlitz on the payphone.


Sweet Tooth
Eat 10 candies.


I believe you can do this achievement during chapter 4 as well, however it's easier to do now. All you need to do is take and eat 10 of the candies from the front desk of the Desire Hotel.




Big Doc Is Watching You
Inspect every Dr. Austerlitz painting at the Desire Hotel.


This achievement is very easy, you just need to interact with the 5 paintings of Dr. Austerlitz in the Desire Hotel.

1. Between the 2 sets of front doors



2. On the pillar in the middle of the second floor



3. The back right of the second floor hallway



4. Next to door 201 on the third floor



5. In your hotel room

Chapter V: Scarlet City

Sounds Familiar
Play the Lust from Beyond: Scarlet melody on the theatre piano.


When you reach the piano in the theatre you need to play the keys from the puzzle in Lust from Beyond: Scarlet pictured below.




Is THIS Ever Going to End?!
Watch the Scarlet Lodge cultist defecate for 3 minutes.


For this achievement you must stand still in the room pictured below for 3 minutes.

Collectibles

I Hate Clowns!
Collect all clowns figurines.



Yv’h lauv’abrarc!
Collect all lauv’abrarc figurines.



Scarlet Lodge
Collect 5 items revealing the history of the Scarlet Lodge.



The Demiurges
Collect 5 items revealing the history of Demiurges.



The Queen of Pleasure
Collect 5 items revealing the story of the Queen of Pleasure.

Miscellaneous Achievements & Endings

The Hall of the Meritorious
Find the room dedicated to Lust from Beyond Kickstarter backers.


You can unlock this achievement anytime you're in the mansion. It requires you to input the code pictured below into the lock for the cupboard near the pool table.

Hasta la vista
Commit suicide due to low sanity.


The recent patch has made this achievement much easier. Don't take any sanity medication or upgrades and eventually you should spawn in those new void-things. If you stare at it with at least a knife in your inventory you should be able to unlock this achievement!


Lust for Life
Spare or save every character important to the story whenever you have the choice.



Time of Delight
Finish the game after opening the Xu’thrar.


I've listed the above 2 achievements together as you can't get one without the other. To unlock Lust for Life you must save every character possible throughout the game. This means:
- Don't kill Dr. Austerlitz during chapter 11
- Don't kill Jonathan during chapter 12
- Save Mabel during chapter 15
- Open Xu'thrar by sleeping with Amanda during chapter 15

**To save Mabel, after talking with her talk to Theodore, choose the 'threaten' option, then retrieve the bottle with the sun picture from the attic pictured below. Afterwards return to where Mabel was and give the bottle to Theodore.




Lust for Death
Kill every character important to the story whenever you have the choice.



Time of Pain
Finish the game without opening the Xu’thrar.


These 2 achievements are the same as the ones listed above, however you must kill every character possible throughout the game, so:
- Kill Dr. Austerlitz during chapter 11
- Kill Jonathan during chapter 12
- Ignore Mabel during chapter 15
- Don't open Xu'thrar by refusing Amanda during chapter 15

I've just discovered that "Is THIS Ever Going to End?!" achievement can also be unlocked in Chapter XI

Ok, so I got 100% in the M Edition now and yes the trick with the save game works so you don't have to play through the entire game twice. Also this guide works fine with the M Edition. And just to prevent some confusion: The "Is THIS Ever Going to End?!" Achiev got removed in the M Edition.

It's been quite a while since I played, but considering the only optional parts start from chapter 11 I would say that as long as you start from there and choose the correct options you'll be able to get that ending. I don't see why you wouldn't!

Question: can I get one of the endings that load backup save from chapter 11, then continue from there and just do the opposite each time to get the other ending?
