Valheim + includes an option for pulling mats from containers to craft/cook/smelt
You don't need both.

I'm a big fan of Smarter containers (Ctrl-click to put an item into a chest and it moves it to another chest that already has that item in it) and Show Container Contents (you get a list of what's in a chest just by putting the cursor on it).

Both are huge quality of life improvements in my opinion. No more futzing around with chests!

Ive always had trouble using mods in games launched through steam versus vortex

I went to Nexus and got all of these mods you mentioned. I installed them using Vortex and it says they are loaded, but I login game and they are not there.
