All the ability unlocks are underneath themselves respectively as well as how to unlock them

Bandit Achievements/Challenges
Due to a fair amount of people wanting more info on getting the achievements to unlock the abilities I decided to make a paragraph or 2 about it.

Bandit: Mastery - As Bandit, beat the game or obliterate on Monsoon.

Beat the game on Monsoon difficulty, either by obliterating or killing the final boss. The final boss is probably easier and can get you more achievements.

Bandit: Sadist - As Bandit, kill a monster with 20 stacks of Hemorrhage.

Collect the following items - 5x Back up magazines, 2-3x Purity, 3 Transcendence, lots of Tougher Times, 5x Fuel cells and Ocular Hud (Try not to stack damage items such as Crowbar, Armour piercing etc.)

Your boss options are as follows:

Overloading Worm - 12000hp + 3600 for each level
Grandparent - 3625 + 1088 for each level
Scavenger - 3800 + 1140 for each level

Note: you may die so do it on drizzle. For Scavengers and Overloading worms you will have to loop but with grandparent you should be able to get on stage 5.

if you have a better way of doing it please let me know

Bandit: B&E - As Bandit, kill the final boss with 'Lights Out'.

If you really want the achievement you can go into drizzle and complete the game by killing Mithrix. Though this achievement should come fairly naturally and can be done while trying to get Bandit: Mastery and Bandit:Sadist

Bandit: Classic Man - As Bandit, successfully use 'Lights Out' to reset your cooldowns 15 times in a row.

Go onto drizzle with Artifact of Swarms, Glass and Kin. Then kill an enemy with "Lights out" and do this 15 times without missing a shot. (You will be resetting "lights out's" cool down so you don't have to have anything else on cool down)

Items:
Its hard to come up with a list of items that the bandit should use especially seen as he is so unique and new. Here are some that will be updated the more I play with him and find new combos.

Equipment

This is my top equipment recommendation for Bandit, combined with a few gesture of the drowned you will be able to take out enemies during the teleporter event and be able to target the rest of your dmg towards the boss.

The preon accumulator is quite good but its long cooldown doesn't make it ideal, good if you like to spend time grinding each stage before doing the teleporter event.

Royal Capacitor is similar to the missile launcher but it shines in the fact that you can target single enemies and focus your fire on a certain foe.

How to play as Bandit - Gameplay
very quick and short points

Bandit is similar to huntress in that they both do a lot of damage and get killed easily, at least as I have found. When playing as bandit you are going to want have movement items such as hopoo feathers and wax quails, these items should help you to get behind your enemies allowing you to crit them. Using wax quals to side strafe is very effective. Attack speed does increase the speed of the gun reload but it isn't very necessary as you will be dodging most of the time, shoot, dodge, repeat.

In terms of obliterating or beating Mithrix , it is generally better to go for the final boss as the bandit is manoeuvrable and can dish out single target damage very well.

Conclusion/Outro
I will be adding more to this guide over time. If you have any questions just ask me and I can hopefully answer. If you enjoyed it then awards are much appreciated,

Oh and please rate.

Have a good day!

Completed "Bandit: Sadist" on the first level post-loop (Titanic Plains) against Beetle Queen. Stacked backup mags (x20), Predatory Instincts and some movement items (feather, goat hoof, quail).

I obliterated myself on Monsoon difficulty but have the Beads of Fealty. It didn't count. I died to that last boss and I didn't get his skin. Fuck my life.

i dont understand whats so hard with bandit, you just abuse stealth, abuse backstab, abuse lights out / desperado on wisps to kill hordes in seconds and remain invisible for 20 hours or get diablo strike levels of damage, rinse and repeat until You're Winner

i got sadist by using the command artifact and having 19 backup mags and stacking attack speed. bandit auto crits on back attacks so there is no reason to add any crit items

@Juho Thank you! :D

If you get enough purity (around 3) and get some alien heads the cooldown on your shift will be so low you can spam it and fly anywhere without people targeting you since when you enter and leave shift you get upwards momentum. With this you can skip charging the pillars for example and get straight to the final boss.

Looking back on this a year later, my writing skills have gotten much better. Probably will update it or make some new guides. Thank you all!

If Purity reduces luck, why use it for Sadist if we want critical strikes?
