Demigod

Description
1.3.1 READY!

RP Reason for being Immortal, with Base Game Friendly Stat Boosts
- Immortal Age set to 25 or below depending on character age at time of decision
- You and Your children will also gain Divine Blood [(https://ck3.paradoxwikis.com/Traits#Descendant_traits)](https://steamcommunity.com/linkfilter/?url=http://(https://ck3.paradoxwikis.com/Traits#Descendant_traits))][(https://steamcommunity.com/linkfilter/?url=http://(https://ck3.paradoxwikis.com/Traits#Descendant_traits))](https://steamcommunity.com/linkfilter/?url=http://(https://steamcommunity.com/linkfilter/?url=http://(https://ck3.paradoxwikis.com/Traits#Descendant_traits)))
- New and Old Save Game Compatible.
- To Uninstall: Make sure you remove the traits via the "Suppress my Divinity" Decision before uninstalling (I don't know if it's necessary though, nor whether it will remove the Divide Blood from your kids.)

This is meant to be a more interesting way of going about immortality (not invulnerability though), think immortality plus. The premise is that you are a Demigod, the Demigod trait you gain is congenital and unique. Its balanced around the Beautiful, Genius, and Herculean leveled traits, and you can still have one of those traits stacked onto this, which can allow for some interesting roleplay as a descendant to a god of that nature. You will also get the vanilla trait Divine Blood, which is 100% congenital. This though is not retroactive to your currently born heirs, if there is a way to do that I will add it in the next update. In addition to this you gain some of the benefits of Pure Blood. Since you are more fertile and will live a long life there is a chance you might just bed a descendant (for reasons I guess?)

This said, although you are more fertile, your chance of passing on this trait is very low about 5% if you find another with this same trait you are actually predisposed to like one another, even more so if you are both of the same faith, and the chance rises to 15%. The reason I have gone this route is so that the world does not get over populated with Demigods in a long campaign. The game will also spawn a new Demigod once in every 1,000 generated NPC's. This is a testing estimate meant to provide balance over a long game. Another reason is from Greek stories of the Gods regarding how virile they were. For instance Ares had thousands of children but only a few inherited some degree of his godhood. I borrowed that concept for this mod, as one of the arguments for the legitimacy of Royal rulers was that they possessed a Divine Right to rule, whether by mandate or blood. This stated even if you do not beget a Demigod, your children will at least inherit the Divine Blood trait, which could be an interesting way of finding another Demi-god out there should you see a person who is not from your own family tree with that trait.

There MIGHT be more updates, though I wanted this mod to be short, sweet, and too the point. I plan to make other mods to try and promote a Forgotten History version of world where not only Demigods, but other supernatural creatures existed. This said, my reasoning for their disappearance or going into hiding would probably be the Spanish Inquisition that nobody expected.

They added categories to decisions. The demigod decision no longer shows up, likely due to not having a category.

@Blood Wraith
I've been thinking about picking up the game again. I'll see what I can do for you. Give me a couple days and watch the page you'll know it when something happens.

Hey, does this mod still work? If not. An update would be awesome.

@wowo So the kinds dont inherit it until they turn of age if memory serves its sometime between 16 and 25. Otherwise your kids would be trapped as kids IF they got the demigod trait. Not all of your children get it.

The mod is super fun, but none of my children have inherited the trait.

Any idea why thats happening?

Man I love this mod when I do a immortal run. I really like how my children only have a chance to get the trait and not every child of mine. Thank you for your work on this and I looked forward to your other mods you make just if you have time.

@shadow.the.dark.lord I'll look into it this weekend.

Can you make it so they can use the kingdom-level invasions multiple times per lifetime? Perhaps once every 10-20 years or so for balance.
