Why only Waffen Bots?
Waffen bots are a special breed of bots. Unlike most that you can simply kick by saying "Hey you have a bot.", Waffen bots have a banned list of words, and saying any of them makes your message get "deleted" by the bots. They also are able to call votekicks.
How to deal with them
A simple way to deal with Waffen bots is to just kick them. More likely the other team knows that they have one, and will try to kick it. Mentioning it in chat will only cause more issues.
Here is a list of banned words:
  • Hacker
  • Waffen
  • Bot
  • Sniper
  • Cheater
Any of the above, and probably more, will result in Waffen covering up your message. Avoid saying these to get your message across to the other team.

If that fails, there is always Plan B.
Plan B
Plan B is less of a "get rid of them" strategy, and more of a "avoid" strategy. Waffen bots play a distinct sound, that sounds like a terrible trumpet. If you hear more than one, safe to say you should stay clear of that area. If you are playing a class that requires multiple headshots to kill, such as Fists Of Steel Heavy, listen closely for different sounds, if you hear more than 2-3 of them, steer clear.

There is also another simple method. Always, ALWAYS play a class that requires multiple headshots to kill. Stack damage resistances, and maybe get an uber medic, if possible. Vaccinator + FoS will certainly help at reducing the bots effectiveness.
Things to note
Waffen Bots have a "priority list" of what they snipe first, and what they target.
From top to bottom, it seems to be
  • Sentry Guns
  • Intel Carriers
  • Cloaked Spies
  • High health enemies (175+)
  • Low Health enemies (<175)

Then, in terms of game modes
  • Payload
  • Control point capture (They do not defend)
  • Intel Capture

Waffen bots do NOT target sticky bombs, are unable to avoid trains and other obstacles, and are generally idiots. Sticky trapping corners, or placing sentry guns in hard to snipe places makes for an effective way to deal with them.

They also do not target other bots on the opposite team.

The objective always takes priority over targets, except in the case of sentry guns.

Votekick System
Waffen bots DO have the ability to call a votekick. Check to make sure the bot is not kicking, and respond accordingly. All Waffen bots on your team will auto vote "yes" to the kick, unless kicking another bot, where they will vote "no".
Now you know how to deal with Waffen Bots
