Basic Guide For All Character Classes
Por PanKo
A very basic guide for beginners on each character class to help you decide which class is best for you. I won't be going in depth into builds, abilities, etc., since this is mainly a guide for very new players trying to find a character they'll like. Despite this guide, remember that the most effective way to find which class suits you best is to play them yourself, this guide is only general information on each classes gameplay/playstyle :>

Elsword Classes
Elsword

"A strong and skillful swordsman. Has infinite potential with the sword, and a strong body due to strict training."

Sword Knight > Knight Emperor Path

“Charges head-first into battle and uses elite swordsmanship skills to rule the battlefield.”
Uses a sword to deal heavy, short ranged damage to enemies.
PvE Difficulty: Easy
PvP Difficulty: Easy
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Short
Type: Physical
MP: Has Aura of Vitality that allows you to quickly replenish MP, as well as use Vitality skills, which use less MP than normal.

Mostly a physical damage dealing class, pretty traditional MMO character gameplay, good for beginners. Good class for beginners to the game or for beginners in the genre itself. Once you are more familiar with the game however, I would recommend trying out other classes.

Magic Knight > Rune Master Path

“A knight that can deal with any enemy after granted the power of magic.”
Adds longer range magic skills on top of sword abilities, giving Magic Knight a longer range than Sword Knight.
PvE Difficulty: Very Easy
PvP Difficulty: Easy
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Magical
MP: Has Aura of Vitality as well, but is debuffed from it.

A little bit more of a balanced character, specializing in both melee and ranged attacks. Would recommend for beginners for PvE, but less so for PvP, as it may take time to adjust to using both kinds of attacks.

Sheath Knight > Immortal Path

“Utilizes an additional sword named the Conwell to be the master of quick attacks and swordplay.”
Dual-wields swords using faster attacks doing less damage as opposed to the slower, stronger attacks of the other Elsword classes.
PvE Difficulty: Easy
PvP Difficulty: Easy
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Short
Type: Physical
MP: Weaker Aura of Vitality than other Elsword classes, so MP gain is less than them over time, but still not bad by any means.

More agile and deals faster damage. Deals faster hits while still retaining high power, allowing the player to grind through dungeons relatively quickly, however it’s a harder class to use in harder dungeons.

Root Knight > Genesis Path

((Quick disclaimer: I've barely played Genesis so this is mainly based off videos I've seen of Genesis gameplay and my very little experience with him, so sorry for any inaccuracies!
〔´∇`〕))
"Uses the power of the El and Resonance to use El's Resonance skills to become stronger."
Uses a ton of buffs and debuffs that helps deal huge damage.
PvE Difficulty: Easy
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Magical
MP: Aura of Vitality, decent MP control.

DPS, pretty much nukes everything in his path. Good clearing, does explosive damage, and can stack buffs. Doesn't support well, but has a lot of really strong Skills. Does really well against Main Bosses, ok with Sub Bosses. Better as a PvE class, kind of relies too much on skills and buffs to be an effective PvP class.
Aisha Classes
Aisha

"Has fire and other supportive magic at her arsenal."

High Magician > Aether Sage Path

“Multiple fireball combos coupled with large area effect spells to quickly obliterate any foe.”
Uses fireballs and elemental spells to deal heavy damage.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Slow
Attack Range: Long
Type: Magical
MP: All Aisha classes have the ability to regenerate MP while standing still, as well as have a passive that gives the chance for MP to be quickly recovered while in Awakening. AeS ‘s isn’t great, and you’ll probably be chugging a lot of potions the whole dungeon. Lot of double casting is required for clearing, as most of her skills don’t have traits that ignore defense.

Ton of elemental variety that is powerful, but may be a little difficult to pick up for brand new players.

Dark Magician > Oz Sorcerer Path

“A job that found a new source of power. It specializes in weakening the target with debuffs.”
Variety of powerful attacks, and has many that take away enemy strength and power.
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Slow
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Magical
MP: Great MP control, you can awaken for continuous mana regeneration. You can pretty much spam Bravery skills because of her crazy mana regen in the third stage of her Awakening.

Hardest Aisha class to play, takes a lot of time to get used to. Has mid range skills, and pretty low damage output, but her insane MP regeneration sorta makes up for it because you can spam bravery skills to clear. You can get a passive as Void Princess that lets you expand your mana pool, and at Transcendence a passive that decreased mana consumption and skill cooldown.

Battle Magician > Metamorphy Path

“A job that utilizes physical energy with magic.”
Uses close combat with staff, along with magic.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Short
Type: Physical
MP: Pretty decent, can regain MP while standing still like other Aisha classes. Better than AeS, not as good as OS. Gains Passives later on that allow you to gain back some MP while using skills.

One of the strongest DPS in the game in my opinion, is short ranged unlike the other Aisha classes, and also has an ability to temporarily buff herself that greatly enhances your strength and mana gain. Pretty good character, not too hard for pick up for a new player.

Wiz Magician > Lord Azoth Path

"[The immortal who breaks the laws of mortality using the Philosopher's Stone] She has finally reached the truth and become one with the Philosopher's Stone, reaching the pinnacle of alchemy. There's nothing left that she can't craft."
Uses potions and midranged attacks to destroy groups of enemies.
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Physical
MP: MP gain by itself is good, but most of her skills that are useful for clearing use a lot of MP, and the two don't pair well. Not as bad as AeS, but still pretty pot heavy. Better than AeS, not as good as MtM.

Pretty weak as a solo character, but decent for support. Combos aren't the best, but that kind of goes for all Aishas. Pretty similar to AeS, but has pretty low damage. Can give buffs to party members, but for right now kind of a weak character, even for support.
Rena Classes
Rena

“Has impressive ranged attacks and close combat capabilities.”

Combat Ranger > Anemos Path

“Has an arsenal of stylish gap closers and quick combos.”
Uses short ranged martial arts attacks
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Easy
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Short
Type: Physical
MP: MP gain isn’t that good, you’ll need to be chugging a lot of potions, especially for bossing, which doesn’t mix well with how she kinda needs to spam skills.

Uses primarily close combat kicks, and later on in the path as Wind Sneaker, she becomes stronger and gains the ability to heal allies while increasing their attack speed. Reasonably strong, but better PvP class than PvE.

Sniper Ranger > Daybreaker Path

“Highly focused and trained, no one can escape her arrows, especially the Dark Elves.”
Basic archer path of an RPG.
PvE Difficulty: Very Easy
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Long
Type: Magical
MP: Has a few skills that can regain mana after use, but still honestly a pretty big mana eater. Not as big of a potion consumer as Anemos, but still pretty significant.

Easy to play, more of a beginner’s class, but easy for all. Simple arrow barrages are easy to repeat over and over, making her an especially good support character for parties, while still being one of the best DPS Rena classes if you play her as such. Slightly difficult character for PvP, as once the opponent has already gotten close it’s difficult for any ranged character to recover.

Trapping Ranger > Twilight Path

“Uses strategic tactics to drive enemies into range before finishing them off.”
Very tactical class.
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Physical
MP: Decent MP gain, can regain good amounts of MP from skills. Still pretty mana hungry, but not as bad as Anemos, and has combos that help her quickly regain mana in small amounts. However, her mana gain becomes a much bigger concern in late game dungeons.

Arguably the strongest but most difficult Rena class. Possesses explosive traps that require tactical skill and luck. Many of her skills could one shot the enemy or do almost no damage. This class has a lot of power but needs strong logic and prediction or it’ll feel impossible to play. Would not recommend for beginners unless they’re good at tactical play and are used to MMORPGS.

Poetic Ranger > Prophetess Path

"The prophet who reads the repeating flow of history and delivers the voice of the world"
Mainly a hybrid support.
PvE Difficulty: Medium
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Long
Type: Magical
MP: Many MP regen abilities, and not as MP heavy as Twilight. However, a lot of her mana abilities are RNG reliant, so keep that in mind if you want to rely more on abilities for mana regen.

As long as you keep up buffs, a strong support depending on raids, but generally very good for most dungeons. Also a solid solo DPS, but struggles more on small bosses without eating MP. Note: A LOT of RNG involved in playing her, mostly in her V abilities, so there's a large random element to her abilities.
Raven Classes
Raven

“A battleworn mercenary who uses a blade and his Nasod Arm for combat.”

Sword Taker > Furious Blade Path

“He suppresses the power of his Nasod Arm and uses his blade to deliver slashes at extreme speed.”
Relies on close combat sword skills but is faster than Elsword.
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Short
Type: Physical
MP: Has attacks that require a lot of MP, but regenerates quickly. Some reliance on quickslots, but gets back a decent amount of MP as he attacks, and not super mana hungry.

Most agile Raven class, one of the fastest close range classes in the game. Executes quick, lower damage strikes. Difficult for beginners, as it requires some experience and faster reactions. Adaptation to his combos is key, and isn’t ideal for new players.

Over Taker > Rage Hearts Path

“A berserker who uses brute force to defeat enemies.”
Utilizes more explosive power in attacks.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Short
Type: Magical
MP: Less MP consumption than FB, but doesn’t regain mana as quickly or as much. Still not awful by any means, but after one or two Bravery skills his mana is drained and doesn’t recover really quickly.

Classic Brawler class, uses strong, heavy, destructive weaponry including a nuclear missile. Attacks are pretty brutal and straight up front. Doesn’t require much tactical skill or agility but can still be difficult to adapt to.

Weapon Taker > Nova Imperator Path

“A fierce warrior that sacrifices his own body to deal more damage to the enemy.”
Bears overheating in order to unleash powerful fire attacks.
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Magical
MP: MP managing is alright, about the same as FB, maybe a little bit weaker when it comes to regeneration, but can still regain a decent amount through quick attacks.

By using HP, you are able to increase Raven’s strength temporarily using Overheat system, but it may be difficult to effectively utilize this in battle. It takes a lot of HP to activate and only gives a slight damage increase over RH. Best for bossing out of all Raven classes, but clearing can be slow. Longer ranged than the others, bit of a glass cannon in PvP.

Venom Taker > Revenant Path

“The wraith knight who carries the burden of the dead and annihilates enemies”
Physical support with solid clearing.
PvE Difficulty: Medium
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Physical
MP: From what I've heard, very difficult to manage MP without great pots management, but possible. Following nerfs, mana regen is a bit unreliable if you aren't very experienced.

For Raven, reasonably easy to play. Besides being the coolest looking Raven, he's one of the only physical supports, and does strong damage for a support. Has pretty solid clearing ability, and is also pretty intuitive to understand. However, he doesn't have any specific things that he's best at, and is a bit clunky to play. Also pretty weak when it comes to raids, but viable in dungeons.
Eve Classes
Eve

“She uses her drones, Moby & Remy to aid her in battle.”

Code: Exotic > Code: Ultimate Path

“She uses the Nasod Spear and explosions to dispose of her enemies.”
Uses strong, powerful attacks.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Short
Type: Magical
MP: Pretty MP hungry, but not as bad as Sariel. Still pretty significant, there’ll be quite a bit of quick slot use involved.

Uses stronger, more damaging destructive weaponry and is able to annihilate everything in her path. Also has party buffs, making her a pretty good support character. Relies a lot on combos, which is the main difficult aspect. Okay for beginners, just requires adaptation to combos.

Code: Architecture > Code: Esencia Path

“She creates intelligent Nasods to aid her in battle.”
Uses a sword dual wielding Nasod to fight.
PvE Difficulty: Easy
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Physical
MP: Pretty good MP, you will have to drink some potions throughout the dungeon but not many, generally pretty good mana recharge.

New fighting style for Eve, uses a Nasod named Oberon who fights along side you. Most skills use Oberon’s attacks. Pretty easy to understand and use, would recommend for any player.

Code: Electra > Code: Sariel Path

“She utilizes Nasod devices that allow her to concentrate the power of El into a powerful beam or electron balls.”
Creates high-power electron beams.
PvE Difficulty: Very Easy
PvP Difficulty: Easy
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Long
Type: Magical
MP: Not the best MP management, you’ll definitely burn through potions quickly with her.

Uses El power to create large, powerful beams. Straightforward class, speedy, and uses powerful El beams. Good for support, especially good in PvE.

Code: Unknown > Code: Antithese Path

"Use various battle tactics utilizing Code: Unknown's immense power and the changed movement."
Utilizes extremely powerful skills.
PvE Difficulty: Easy
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Physical
MP: Great MP management, probably the least mana hungry of all the Eve classes. Early - mid game potion consumption will probably be pretty low, as her abilities and passives keep her MP up.

My main + love of my life! Even following changes, still an insane DPS and one of the strongest in the game. Almost solely relies on skills, but the skills are crazy strong and even early game can take out the entire stage with one 200 MP attack. Quick attacks are okay, great combos, SUPER fun movement. Also does well on curved maps. Considering how skill reliant she is, definitely more PvE. Excellent clearing, and I was able to fully level her in a little under four hours. Button masher friendly! Even if she gets nerfed again in the future, likely to remain a strong and well-rounded DPS, and one of the top DPS in the game.
Chung Classes
Chung

“A tough fighter that wields a giant cannon, and ignores the enemy's attacks while attack them.”

Fury Guardian > Comet Crusader Path

“The guardian stone responded to his strong will and transformed itself into a more powerful form.”
Relies on sheer strength and force to deliver heavy physical blows.
PvE Difficulty: Very Easy
PvP Difficulty: Easy
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Short
Type: Physical
MP: Pretty mana hungry, potion heavy class.

Decent solo clearing, but a great support class. Bossing is pretty bad, but gives really good party buffs.

Shooting Guardian > Fatal Phantom Path

“A tough fighter that wields a giant cannon, and ignores the enemy's attacks while attack them.”
Uses heavy cannon strikes as well as fast bullets.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Long
Type: Magical
MP: Has reasonably good MP regeneration, but he mainly does well because he uses much less mana than normal because of a Passive skill.

Combines the regular Destroyer strikes with long ranged bullet strikes. Good for a different kind of Chung experience, using long range weapons along with his heavy duty, closer ranged cannon attacks.

Shelling Guardian > Centurion Path

“A master of explosives that utilize cannonballs in a variety of ways.”
Uses heavy artillery and explosive weapons at a distance.
PvE Difficulty: Easy
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Slow
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Magical
MP: Also pretty potion heavy, but has really good skills that are worth it. Still, really potion hungry.

Rather than using upfront bashing with the Destroyer or using long range guns, this class uses the cannon to blast and deal heavy magic damage. This class also has the Carpet Bombing skill, likely the most powerful skill in the game. Great for support.

Cor Guardian > Dius Aer Path

“The Sanctuary that Embraces Everyone Who Needs Protection”
Uses heavy artillery and explosive weapons at a distance.
PvE Difficulty: Easy
PvP Difficulty: Medium
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Physical
MP: Decent MP management. Nothing extraordinary, but has good mana regen abilities and doesn't eat too much normally. If you have good enough pots management and slots then MP is never a big issue.

Even following nerfs, up there with Centurion as one of the best Chung classes. One of the best supports in the game, and has excellent clearing, even with a bit of difficulty in bossing. Can buff damage, heal, and apply armor
Ara Classes
Ara

“A character that utilizes the long range of a spear and also the power of 'Eun’.”

Little Hsien > Apsara Path

“Ara wields the spear of righteousness and follows the path of good. Uses her spear to punish those who dare commit evil in her presence.”
Wields a fast spear to eliminate enemies at mid-range.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Physical
MP: Great MP management. Has abilities to regen, and isn't as MP hungry as classes like Devi. Not much else to say.

Actually more of a close ranged class but with a few long range attacks. Most of her skills don’t do many hits, but do a significant amount of damage, however this makes filling the Awakening bar slow. Pretty easy character to adjust to, and is good to get used to Ara’s basic style.

Little Devil > Devi Path

“Ara acquired an ancient tome that contains the secret of acquiring the force of darkness. She utilizes this power to convert it to fit her fighting style.”
Can perform at both long and short range.
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Long
Type: Magical
MP: Very MP hungry, but it's a tradeoff for bigger damage. She's more pot heavy than most other classes, and her abilities aren't great to regen MP.

For basic attacks, she can do well as a close range and long range fighter, however her skills are more midranged. She can debuff enemies, but that isn’t very useful a lot of the time. Hardest Ara class IMO to play and learn, so more of a class recommended for players well acquainted with playing Ara.

Little Specter > Shakti Path

“Thanks to Echo, Ara realizes the true power of 'Eun'. She specializes in spells that defeat spirits and evil.”
Most versatile of the Ara classes.
PvE Difficulty: Easy
PvP Difficulty: Easy
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Short
Type: Physical
MP: Very situational. MP varies a ton based on both playstyle and dungeon type, but in general, pot chugging simulator as a HDPS.

Closest attack range of the three, and is probably the fastest and most agile. Very easy class to pick up and learn quickly, good for learning Ara’s attacks and basic skills.

Little Helper > Surya Path

“The one who guides both the living and the dead”
Most versatile of the Ara classes.
PvE Difficulty: Medium
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Magical
MP: Admittedly a lot of MP issues. Her abilities use a lot of mana, but she doesn't have great regen abilities, so prepare for a LOT of pots.

Personal bias, I feel that she's not much fun outside of raids. Not amazing clearing besides the Iceberg ability, which has a long cooldown and 200 MP, which you'll have to use pots to reach anyway. She's definitely a strong raid support, especially in magical parties. Once you get practice in with her though, she definitely can become a lot more fun and fix a lot of her MP problems that she suffers from early game.
Elesis Classes
Elesis

“A Knight that wields a two handed sword. Uses quick yet powerful attacks with mysterious powers.”

Saber Knight > Empire Sword Path

“A Knight who utilizes quick movement and specialized moves for taking out enemies.”
Mainly a debuffer class who’s a bit quicker and deals heavy damage.
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Short
Type: Physical
MP: Pretty decent with mana since she uses a lot of strength skills and has good mana regen ability.

Very simple to play, good for farming dungeons. Good for clearing, but requires a lot of buffing/debuffing usage if you want to play her well later game or in raids. Strong in party raids, but not the best for solo bossing.

Pyro Knight > Flame Lord Path

“Elesis uses her power of fire with her sword. She slashes and burns all enemies in her path.”
Manipulates flames for a slightly longer ranged character.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Magical
MP: MP management is fine, has some abilities to regen and doesn't eat through a lot of mana, but nothing notable.

Does pretty strong debuffs and does powerful magical damage. Has more variety than the others, using both her sword and flames. A better PvE class, but gets weaker late game and also weak in raids.

Dark Knight > Bloody Queen Path

“Uses skills with wide range of attacks which consumes health to deal massive damage.”
Saps a ton of HP, kind of a high risk high reward character.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Easy
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Short
Type: Physical
MP: How well her mana is managed depends on the player, as her passive mana regen is strong, but you really just need to get the hang of her system and mechanics to optimize mana recovery.

Pretty controversial character, but currently is one of the top damage dealers. Loses health along with attacks. Not very beginner friendly, but if you have pots and know how to play her she can be one of the strongest classes to use, as she does a ton of damage in exchange for losing HP. Very strong in PvP.

Soar Knight > Adrestia Path

“Dual Sword Wielder Who Uses the Blue Weapon Shaped as a Sword”
Support/Sub DPS that needs a LOT of investment.
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Magical
MP: Very strong MP management, with passives that can reduce mana costs, and gets an extra MP per second when awakened.

Generally not considered one of the better Elesis classes. There really isn't anything good about her that isn't done better by a different class/character. Of course, if you want to give her a try, by all means you should, but be prepared for a lot of investment and grinding. That said, she is a very flexible character that can be decent in parties.
Add Classes
Add

"Gains advantage on every battle with the use of his vast knowledge."

Psychic Tracer > Doom Bringer Path

“Defy the laws of physics with the use of the Nasod Armor to aid you in battle.”
Does hard, heavy damage.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Magical
MP: A lot of pot chugging. Pretty weak mana regen but relies so much on high MP cost abilities that good pots management is vital.

Lower health and endurance, but hits like an 18-wheeler and does massive heavy damage. Good for both PvE and PvP but is better for PvP.

Arc Tracer > Dominator Path

“Manipulates the Dynamo at will and creates a Dynamo that resembles more of his intelligence.”
Short ranged physical damage.
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Long
Type: Physical
MP: Another class where it's dependent on how you play him. The general consensus is that he eats a lot of MP, but with decent builds and passives, especially if you can get your hands on a Divinity of Seven Realms IB set, his mana usage can be optimized. But in general, if you're just here for a good time, prepare for pot city.

Does good damage, has some really strong special actives capable of mowing down enemies. Stronger in PvE than PvP, but generally considered the weakest Add class, and a weak character overall due to his late-game bottleneck if you aren't well-geared.

Time Tracer > Mad Paradox Path

“Destroys dimensions and teleports through them to overwhelm enemies in battle.”
Can plow through enemies relatively quickly and has great clearing with medium range, quick attacks.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Magical
MP: Opposite of Doombringer, hardly ever needs to use pots. Very good regen and cost system, so as long as you utilize his MP regeneration mechanics mana shouldn't be much of a problem.

Probably the best PvE Add, his debuffs and clearing are very good, and deals strong, midrange damage. However, he has the lowest skill damage, and lacks power when fighting bosses. Also has long skill cooldowns. He uses his DP bar as a second MP bar so doesn’t remain Awakening mode long.

Affect Tracer > Overmind Path

“The Mad Doctor Who Rules with a Mask of Benevolence.”
Support with a high skill ceiling.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Physical
MP: Takes a decent amount of pots because of his reliance on abilities, but has a good mana regen system and passive that can reduce mana costs.

One of the best physical healers, on par with Nyx Pieta. Definitely a bit squishy as a support, but once you figure out the mechanics and system can be one of the most busted support classes. Still in a bit of an uncertain state depending if he gets changed, but for now, as long as you pay attention to the mechanics then easily one of the best physical supports.
Lu/Ciel Classes
Lu/Ciel

“Lu uses her powerful claw to shred her enemies to pieces while Ciel gains enhanced assassin abilities from the pact with Lu.”

Chiliarch > Catastrophe Path

“Summon demonic beasts of terror to devour her enemies. Also uses the fear of her enemies to destroy them.”
Tanky character that destroys several enemies at once with massive close range attacks.
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Short
Type: Physical
MP: Like most Lu/Ciel classes, requires a lot of pot chugging early game, but later game when abilities and mechanics are optimized the pot usage will slow down a bit. But keep in mind that if you're playing Lu/Ciel, you're gonna chug pots.

Basically nukes opponents, special actives mostly used. Building MP is most important, as later classes use their special attacks primarily. Better as a PvP class, as in PvE 100 MP skills are pretty much the only usable attacks, and quick attacks do little damage in PvE.

Royal Guard > Innocent Path

“Ciel becomes a butler/sniper and does anything in his power to get Lu's rightful place back in the Demon World.”
Long ranged shooter.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Long
Type: Magical
MP: Generally not many issues with MP, since Sniper Mode helps recover MP relatively quickly, but like any other class you might have a lot of pot usage early game.

Specializes more in Ciel’s combos, and fires heavy projectiles at a safe distance, but be prepared for a lot of cycling you'll have to learn. Also able to take energy from enemeis to make his skills stronger. Can throw out large amounts of magical damage while being protected with magical defense, but has low physical defense.

Diabla > Diangelion Path

“Empowered by demonic magic, she mocks her enemies with nimble movements. In her Manic Demon Form, she crushes enemies with her enormous, never-ending strength.”
Quick and agile class, with Manic Demon skills doing large amounts of damage.
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Easy
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Magical
MP: More severe than Catastrophe, you'll be using potions till the end of time. Abilities just use so much MP and without the passives that the others have for MP regen, you'll have to spam potions, but it's a tradeoff for good damage.

Razes the battlefield with brutal, quick attacks and traps. PvP has the use of bound combos that can teleport you to your enemy making it near impossible for them to read your movements. PvE works very well when enemies are grouped together as some skills deal a lot of damage when there are more enemies in range. Also has the use of Manic Demon mode, granting access to stronger attacks and skills.

Emptiness > Demersio Path

“The vassal stuck in twisted sense of responsibility.”
Support class that can also farm big bosses.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Magical
MP: Has some decent abilities to regen mana, and is overall pretty reliable when it comes to mana usage and regeneration.

Excellent support class, although not great for most solo dungeons. Clearing is a bit weak, and struggles on small/mid bosses, but can be cracked on big bosses. Great support for both physical and magical parties, but is not best for more solo players.
Rose Classes
Rose

“Switches between various weapons in battle. Capable of using the Colorless Spirit (ECP) ability that utilizes Over Strike for stronger attacks.”

Heavy Barrel > Tempest Burster Path

“Wipe out enemies using your heavy weapons and take control of the battlefield.”
Uses heavy, cannon shots primarily while supported by faster, shorter ranged shots.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Slow
Attack Range: Long
Type: Physical
MP: Has an excellent passive for mana gain, but requires some getting used to the character mechanics before it can really be used efficiently to maximize mana gain, so has potential to be a bit pot heavy early game.
Best class for PvE, great bossing and clearing. Focuses on destructive firepower and huge explosions. Can increase damages with buffs and can seriously just destroy dungeons. Sacrifices speed for power, but is still the best PvE class, and is okay in PvP.

Bloodia > Black Massacre Path

“Mastery of revolvers allows you to fire shots quicker and move around with great speed in the battlefield.”
Aggressive play style that slashes up enemies.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Physical
MP: Designed to be a bit more of a command/combo heavy character, so skill usage isn't as heavy as most other characters, so usually mana isn't much of a problem. However, if you're more of a skill spammer, her mana gain is a bit slow.
Does some pretty high damage, mid ranged fighter. Doesn’t really have long range attacks, but is still a pretty good class that can deal heavy medium range damage. Also has useful buffs/debuffs. Generally considered a bit of an outdated character, since she's much more combo reliant and was designed when combos were a bit more reliable and dealt better damage.

Valkyrie > Minerva Path

“Flies through the battlefield with the nitro motor and attacks enemies with elemental bullets. This angel of the battlefield is called 'Valkyrie’.”
Has the ability to perform attacks from the air.
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Long
Type: Magical
MP: Definitely pot-heavy early game. Before you have strong gear, you have to pretty much just spam skills which takes up a lot of mana. Later game with better gear she's much more skill efficient, but her mana regeneration is really just okay.
Can attack from the air and use multiple consecutive air dashes by using her Nitro Motor. By using a passive skill she can perform her aerial attacks with increased damage and decreased MP cost. However, she’s considerably weaker on the ground, and if you use her air skills while on the ground they do close to no damage.

Metal Heart > Prime Operator Path

“Use the upgraded technical skills to create mechanics and use them in battle. A strong-willed specialist that overcomes all obstacles in order to succeed.”
Relies on her mechanical inventions in battle.
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Magical
MP: Another character where as long as you understand the mechanics, mana is no problem. Her mana gain relies mostly on having her mechas out, in which case mana isn't much of an issue. However, while getting used to her, mana can be a bit confusing and difficult to get used to.
Has multiple summons that she uses to fight for her, as well as several skills and passives to buff them. More of a tactical class that relies on some passive skills and summons more than charging into battle. Her attacks are also kind of slow, not so much the character as the summons, as they can take a while to move around, or fire projectiles over a longer period of time. Still, great bossing ability.
Ain Classes
Ain

“The 'Creation Magic' granted by the Goddess Ishmael and the unique 'Cycle Magic' given with his name will allow you to play with limitless potential.”

Lofty: Executor > Richter Path

“A job optimized in projecting weapons and fighting in close range combats through 'Creation Magic'. The fast and fatal weapons exterminate enemies in a quick manner.”
Does really heavy, quick, close ranged damage
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Short
Type: Physical
MP: Has some good mana refund skills, but in general is a bit pot heavy. There isn't really a weakness in his regen, but it's more an issue of how skill reliant he is and how much mana his skills require. But still manageable IMO.
Does mad damage, with the damage per second rate being very good, and has great clearing. Also moves quickly and is best as a PvE class. Later on as Richter, you acquire Werfen Speer, which is a godly skill that is the main weapon when it comes to bossing.

Lofty: Anpassen > Bluhen Path

“A job skilled at mid and long range combats through the magic that cycles the El energy with the God's power. The cycle magic strengthens attacks and lends a flexible battle style.”
Fires long ranged magical shots.
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Long
Type: Magical
MP: Mana issues are very reliant on how you build your Bluhen. Has a lot of room to socket gear to help with mana, and also has passives to reduce mana costs. However, he has a lot of mechanics that take some getting use to, so it can be a bit difficult early game.
Difficult class, as the Eid System, which allows you to enhance your skills and give them extra effects, is considered confusing and complicated, making it a difficult character to get the hang of. However, once you are able to master the Eid System, this can be a useful and decently strong class, but is still better as a support character for PvE.

Lofty: Wanderer > Herrscher Path

“This is a job in which the inner chaos appears outwards due to the influences of Henir. Due to the corrupt power, the energy surrounding. Ain is absorbed and grows into materialized seeds of chaos.”
Can use Henrir Awakening to gain access to additional effects on skills.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Magical
MP: Similar to Richter, pretty pot-heavy, and lacks a real decent mana regeneration skill or passive to make up for it.
Fast and has good range and pretty strong. Good, well rounded class for both PvE and PvP. With high enhancements and in Henrir Awakening mode he can almost instantly clear rooms and has amazing clearing.

Lofty: Schreierr > Opferung Path

“The Twisted Apostle Who Hungers for a Response from the Goddess”
Physical Synergy DPS that uses tainted demon energy.
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Physical
MP: SUPER pot heavy. Like absurdly. There's not much more to say besides you're going to be chugging a lot.
Overall, a bit of an unpopular character. Requires a ton of investment to really be viable, and isn't popular in raids. Even if you're a more casual player, he's confusing to get used to and isn't easy to build without grinding.
Laby Classes
Laby

“She mostly utilizes close hand-to-hand combat, while borrowing Nisha's power to attack long-range.”

Sparky Child > Eternity Winner Path

“A class that uses close-combat skills that she learned from her teacher. Her curious nature leads to accepting things easily and improve exponentially.”
Performs fast, consecutive, short ranged attacks.
PvE Difficulty: Easy
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Short
Type: Physical
MP: Very easy to get a hold of the system, and manages MP very well. You spam a couple things to regen mana, nuke the stage, and repeat.
Strong DPS, does some of the highest physical attack in the game, and has passives that can convert all skills using Magical Attack stat to Physical Attack, as well as increasing her physical attack by almost 10%. Has some very useful PvP skills as well that can teleport you to the opponent and deal damage.

Twinkle Child > Radiant Soul Path

“A job path that develops close friendship with Nisha and wishes to help everyone she meets outside the forest.”
Support that fires longer ranged magical attacks.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Long
Type: Magical
MP: Since her skill damage output is weaker than most, you'll end up having to pot chug a lot until you can support in parties. Early game especially takes a lot of pots for quick clearing in the earlier quests, but can still be manageable with mana regen passive.
Doesn’t really use combos, but is highly mobile like other Laby classes. Fun class, but most skills are pretty weak. More of a support character. She does have great AoE however, with great skill range. Again, she has a lot of weaknesses, but is fun to play and can be useful as a support character.

Rusty Child > Nisha Labyrinth Path

“Rely on Nisha and hide fear and anxiety while reminisce the memory of the forest.”
Has great skills and hyperactives.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Long
Type: Physical
MP: Takes a lot of pots, since she's very skill reliant and relies a lot on nuke skills that use a lot of mana. She still has good regen skills, but doesn't usually balance out the amount of mana you need in a stage effectively.
Good combos, and most skills are pretty good. She has summons, but they aren’t particularly useful, and doesn’t really gain the better skills until advancing to later classes. Understanding her summons and passives is very important for efficiency, and can also be a bit potion chuggy.

Rough Child > Twins Picaro Path

"Uncontrollable troublemaker."
Fast, self-buffing character.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Long
Type: Magical
MP: Pretty nice MP management. Skills aren't too MP heavy, and her regeneration and refunds are decent and easy to use. Usually not many mana problems.
Depends very heavily on keeping up buffs. Buffs and Great Villain are the real key to this character, and you'll have a decent damage output as long as you can get used to her buff mechanics. A lot of her clearing skills fall short, but there are still a couple that are great for bombing out the stage. Overall, damage output itself isn't great, but can be made up for by good application of buffs.
Noah Classes
Noah

“Use close-range combat with the sickle and dark energy from the Moon Stone to defeat enemies.”

Second Revenger > Liberator Path

“As he gains his swift movement and battle senses back, he wishes to complete his second revenge by removing all obstacles that come in his way.”
Deals fast, low damage, repetitive attacks.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Short
Type: Physical
MP: As a Liberator main, there's no easy way to say this: MANA STARVED ASF. Good attacks, but MP regeneration is garbage and you'll be just gobbling quick slot items. As in I can't even count how many Hard Boiled Eggs I've devoured using Liberator.

Uses combos to deal very quick, consecutive attacks. While not necessary, combos are an important and very useful part of using this class. Getting used to the combos can be difficult, but once one has the hang of them, you can plow through enemies pretty quickly. Better for support, but can do well solo.

Second Selection > Celestia Path

“With artificial spirit magic he learned from Clamor, Noah can cast extravagant long-ranged magic. Enhance skills by activating cards.”
Uses strong, long range, powerful, magical shots.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Long
Type: Magical
MP: Has decent enough mana regen skills where mana isn't usually too much of an issue, but on occasion, especially early game can be a bit more chuggy. Not one of the best mana regen systems by any means, but usually you'll have pretty low pot usage if you're utilizing his kit correctly.
Has stronger attacks that take time but deal significant damage. Also has some very useful combos that can deal damage while propelling you away from enemies. Usual explosive type character, but is more long ranged than some others. Does better on curved maps than other classes. IMO, best Noah class.

Second Grief > Nyx Pieta Path

“Using the power of the moon as a relic of rest and confession, protect your allies and destroy your enemies as you try to break the edge of tragedy.”
Can buff party members and has both long and short ranged attacks.
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Physical
MP: Has good support heals for mana, but early game is a bit rough because of how support oriented a lot of his skills are, so before partying up can be a bit chuggy before you can focus more on support skills.
Uses a longer blade to deal medium ranged damage. Attacks are a little slow and a little low damage. Decent combos, and strong special actives. Pretty good support, and overall an ok rounded character, but is pretty different form the other classes and is mainly for support, requires some getting used to.

Second Dejection > Morpheus Path

“Dreamer Who Ignores Reality and Travels Through Unrealistic Dreams”
Pure DPS with long ranged attacks.
PvE Difficulty: Hard
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Long
Type: Magical
MP: Has some struggles with MP, but not as much as Liberator or Celestia. Has a passive at level 99 that helps heal MP but isn't too reliable, so can be relatively chuggy sometimes.
Pretty gear reliant, but has a lot of great DPS potential. Definitely takes a decent amount of investment to be worth it, but I find him pretty fun to play, although there is a period of getting used to and learning his skills and how to best play him.
Lithia Classes
Lithia

"A magician and treasure hunter who travels alone and complete different requests."

Poten Finder > Gembliss Path

“Seeker of Taboo who isn't bound by rules.”
Uses gemstones and relics to blow through bosses.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Short
Type: Physical
MP: Has a few skills that require a lot of MP, but is much more reliant on gems than mana, and it depends a lot on individual management and grasp of her system. But in general, managing MP shouldn't be hard.

Minecraft! Uses drill skills and mining skills to power her gem skills that are great for bossing, and a little bit less great for clearing. Requires quite a bit of getting used to, since her system relies a lot on maintaining gems and using her skills correctly, which can be a bit confusing at first.

Fortune Finder > Avarice Path

“A healer of greed who moves forward to gain more than what she achieved”
A consistent support with decent damage output and great healing.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Hard
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Physical
MP: Similar to Gembliss, relies more on gem maintenance than actual mana management for damage, and generally doesn't require too much pot chugging, but can be a bit heavy before you get used to mechanics and system.

A pretty strong support, and is relatively easy to pick up once you understand Lithia's gem system. Has a lot of fun mobility, and provides very good buffs in parties, overall being a pretty decent support while still having viable solo gameplay.

Path Finder > Achyls Path

"Researcher Obsessed with the Rift and Fascinated by Taboo."
DPS with a Rift mechanic allowing her to summon monsters.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Average
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Magical
MP: Huge pot-heavy class. Just does a lot of pot chugging all game due to her heavy skills.

A bit weak for a DPS, and also relies on her Cancer mod so much that she feels much worse to play until you get it. Generally feels a bit awkward to play with her rift mechanic, and in general IMO just feels a bit clunky to play.

Trick Finder > Mischief Path

"A mad magician who ravages twisted beings."
DPS with strong party synergy.
PvE Difficulty: Normal
PvP Difficulty: Normal
Speed: Fast
Attack Range: Medium
Type: Magical
MP: Better management than Achyls, although still can occasionally be a bit chuggy. Her reliance on bigger, more mana hungry skills can make it so you're constantly drained of mana if you aren't paying much attention, but can be optimized, especially with gear and skills to be a bit stronger when it comes to mana regen.

Pro: Is incredibly well synergized with parties and works very flexibly with them, especially when buffed. Con: Not great solo, as without much buff/debuff stacking, her own damage is a bit weaker and worse for clearing, and gets outshined by a lot of other more flexible solo DPS, even with my personal favorite design in the game. However, has great bossing as well as decent support abilities.

Direct to the point, sorted properly and summarizes each class pretty well. Something to point out though, but all classes now are now put into either physical/magical damage, not just Laby, so the character damage type determines what that class will be doing (e.g. Elesis' Flame Lord path will convert all skills to magic damage, including the base Free Knight skills.), great guide regardless! Only one I've seen that's up-to-date and is continuously updated too.

Is PO even worth playing atm?

if possible could you add information about MP consumption and regeneration. Like Noah classes, Liberator MP usage is quite big comparing to Celestia. One thing if you have already a lot of MP potions, but without them it will be quite slower for clearing.

Legendary guide. It helped my friend choose which class they wanted to play as their first character. Good stuff hope you keep it updated with further patches!
