I'll leave it up to you. You can get pretty close to them and they won't fly away, neither make too much noise to give away your position.

Ducks are a rather rare sight in the Bayou. Their sound may be simillar to the Water Devil.
Sometimes they "fake" footsteps behind you. Mostly these footsteps are just sounds of ducks diving in the water.

~Conclusion~

In my opinion ducks were a pretty cool addition to the game in Early Access. They give a variety to the category of harmless animals. If you hate them, you can always burn them! 😈
It's not worth it though! That'd make much more noise than just simply scaring them away which is pretty hard already.

There are some duck spawns that may be annoying but usually they are not. They are pretty easy to walk past and it's usually not needed to crouch walk. Of course at the end they are a sound trap so make sure to stop running when they're close. The pictures I've made for this guide were made without the Beastface trait while crouching in the water. that's pretty close imo so it should also be pretty easy to just walk past them silently!

This guide is purely made to show some cute duck pics and say something about them. Actually there are differences in sound though. I've had several situations where I thought that the enemy hunter is crouching in the water but these were ducks!

the liquid one and the regular firebomb are the same, except one works on water.

either way the firebomb isnt super loud, its just glass breaking mostly, while explosions are much more like gunshots, practically map wide...

ducks/crows arent map wide, but im p sure their sounds go further than firebombs
