Diesaac

This mod adds Diesaac, the bearer of misfortune, as a playable character! Diesaac's world is a chaotic mess, and he has become obsessed with how unfairly it treats him.

When playing as Diesaac, rooms have their enemies, rocks, and pickups rerolled. More specifically:
- Upon entering most uncleared rooms, the D10 effect activates, rerolling the enemies. (This does not occur in rooms containing Mom's hands, as rerolling these enemies results in unfair damage.)
- Upon entering a room for the first time, the D12 effect activates, rerolling rocks and other objects. (This does not occur in sacrifice rooms.)
- Upon entering most rooms for the first time, the D20 effect activates, rerolling the pickups. (This does not occur in shops, challenge rooms, or the first room of each floor. Messing up these rewards didn't feel fun.)

Diesaac's stats:
- He has a 1.2x damage multiplier, to help a little bit with the randomized enemies.
- He starts with 4 different types of hearts. Hopefully it's enough!

Diesaac's starting items:
- Active: The D1! Upon using this item, a singular random pickup in the room is duplicated. Augment any sliver of good luck you come across!
- Trinket: Pay to Win! Causes a reroll machine to spawn in every item room. Use your resources to bend the odds in your favor!

In Greed Mode, the D10 effect activates at the start of every odd-numbered wave. This does not affect enemies' health.


This mod also adds Tainted Diesaac to the game! Tainted Diesaac is an entirely separate character from his non-cracked self and has his own unique mechanics.

When Tainted Diesaac takes damage, chaos is unleashed upon the otherwise-normal world around him. More specifically:
- Whenever his health goes down, pedestal items in the room are rerolled. However, the resulting pedestal items can be from any item pool, as if you'd taken Chaos!
- The D12 effect will also activate, rerolling the objects in the room.

Tainted Diesaac's stats:
- 1.05x damage multiplier
- -2 luck (poor guy)
- An absolute mess of a healthbar (including every heart type his smooth counterpart lacks)
- 6 broken hearts! This means he can only reach up to half of most characters' maximum health.
