Puffing Devil

The Puffing Devil was another invention by the British inventor Richard Trevithick in 1801. It was one of the first road vehicles using steam to power itself along. The main bulk of it is the boiler and steam mechanism to power the front wheels, which are two long rods leading to the wheels from a piston in the centre. In front of the boiler is a barrel, likely containing water for cooling, while at the back of it is the smoke stack and firebox. There's then a standing plate for a driver and fireman to stand.

Top speed: an unrealistic 19mph thanks to the electric motor we have in BR.

Crew: 1 but space for another standing - a driver and 1 more standing.

Enjoy this new early steam vehicle! I was asked to make this so here it is! Any vehicle from Richard Trevithick is a good vehicle in Brick Rigs! The wheels are not perfect, as in 1801 rubber wheels weren't a thing, but they're the best I can do without making large, bulky oversized wheels for it.
