Set-up
After you boot the game up go into the server browser then open up the console with the tilde key once you've done this type in ".cst" (or alternatively you can type "host") into the console then click proceed:

Now get out of the console with the tilde key and look in the upper left for the create server button, it should look like this:

once you clicked the button click "Create Anyway" then wait.

Now when it's done loading click the "Force Start" button.

Finally open up the console with the tilde key and type in ".adminme" in the console then click proceed:

Exit the console with the tilde key then you're set. Congratulations!!! you are now playing in singleplayer go ahead and do whatever you want, if you want to use any admin abilities you can click [M] and do whatever with the RA window. You can also let friends on the same network join your LAN server.
Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Does making a LAN server cost money?

Answer: No, LAN servers are completely free to make although if you want a dedicated server it does cost money.

Question: Is it possible to add server plugins to a LAN server?

Answer: No, since you don't have any place to change server configuration (as in a file which you can change gameplay mechanics such as stamina, respawn tickets, etc.) for LAN servers it is impossible to add a server plugin

Question: Can you still obtain achievements when playing on LAN server?

Answer: Yes, it is completely possible to obtain all of the achievements as long as you have enough people and/or the proper equipment. *A person in the comment section of this guide has claimed they cannot get achievements by hosting a singleplayer server so I no longer know if this is true.

Question: Is it possible for a friend to join my LAN server?

Answer: Yes, as long as your friend is on the same network as you they can join by clicking the "Direct Connect" button where the server list is located and by filling out the prompt with the proper IP and port which can be checked typically via computer settings.

Don't play the game that much so I am not entirely sure but it seems like you are having some authentication issues or something I really don't know when I had that issue I just reset my game.

Hey, how fix that error? "non-issued token used for authentication". When I log into a local server, I can't open doors or give myself things through the admin panel, I'm not even shown in the list of players in the admin panel, how can I fix this?

I think recently they changed console commands that they need a period as a preface any commands you type in.
