On The Deck Achievement Easy, Fast Completion

This is a quick short guide on how to get the achievement in 30 minutes or less.

On The Deck Achievement

Flying A Mini-Copter

• Spawn on flat land.
  
• Needs low grade fuel to operate.
  
• W - go up.
  
• S - go down/land.
  
• A/D - left/right.
  
• Move mouse slightly and slowing - control direction.
  
• Will lose control easily if you move the mouse to fast and to much.

Find A Server

• 1 mini-copter costs 250 scrap and can get easily destroyed by other players in a vanilla server. Instead, try joining a community or modded server so you don't have to spend time to gather and save scrap to purchase a mini-copter.
  
• Double check that there is at least 1 oil rig. Not all servers will have oil rigs. So join and leave servers until you find at least 1 oil rig.
  
• Some oil rigs will have scientists and some won't. My friend joined a server with no scientists on the oil rig where as mine had them.
  
• The screenshot below shows the server I joined. This may not be available as servers come and go over time. I went through 4-5 servers before finding this one.
  

Place A Sleeping Bag

• Place one as close to the oil rig as possible.
  
• Just in case something goes wrong you will be able to spawn as close as possible without having to respawn and fly across the map.
  

Spawn in Items

• Need to type commands in chat.
  
• Commands for me were:
  • /help for a list of commands.
    
  • /fly to fly around.
    
  • /mymini to spawn mini.
    
  • /nomini to destroy the mini to spawn in a new one.
• Use the commands to spawn in items as needed.
  
• Spawn in guns for fighting
  
• Medical kits for healing.
  
• Armor for protection.
  

Fly To Oil Rig And Fight

• You can either fly over using a mini-copter or the command to fly over.
  
• For me, I flew (not using a mini-copter, but the command) to get as close as possible to take out the scientists.
  
• Once the helipad is cleared out, try to go to the helipad, and spawn in mini-copter.
  
• All you will need to do is press W to go up a few feet, then S and ctrl to land it.
  • When the helipad is cleared.
    
  • Go to the helipad and stand on it/above it.
    
  • Type in command /fly to disable flying.
    
  • Type in /mymini and put low grade fuel in the mini.
    
  • Jump on the mini, fly up, and fly down.
