Thank you for your reply. I've been looking through various videos on YT, but you're the only one with this chest idea.

Well, I thought people would be better served figuring such things out on their own, since it's part of the fun ;)
But since you asked, I first put up a normal wall, and lined up 4 chests next to it, I then took the little shelf thing (it's next to the floor in the build menu I think) and lined these up above the 4 chests; I then stacked another 4 chests on top of the shelves, I then removed the walls behind them to create an opening, and used a 45° wall to fill in the holes on the sides, more for aesthetic reasons than anything (could also have just used a normal wall).
