Better late than never. To answer your question, yes. I'm fine with that.
Sorry, I am not tech savvy to help with that [Your Watch Dogs 2 problem]. Will avoiding the multiplayer mode help?
Answer: No worries. That's a valid point. I get that.
By the way: Speaking of EAC, do you think you could help me out with something related to it? I own Watch Dogs 2 on Steam, which unfortunately uses EAC. Any idea if there's a way to remove it / disable it from being triggered when playing that game?
P.S. If you want, we can add each other temporarily on Steam for talking about the EAC problem (as well as continuing the EOS topic, why not).
Quote: "I only deal with Easy Anti-Cheat, the guys at the Epic Games Sucks are dealing with this EOS stuff."
Answer: I see. The reason I posted in here was to help you get access to the list of EOS-infested games (you asked about it on the group page). In case I've annoyed you, I apologize for that.
Quote: "Plus, some guys already link the link that you're trying to show me."
Answer: True, but if you compare the time period between my comments in here and someone else's response on the group page, you'll see there's quite a big difference (~5hours or so). The moment I posted these replies was way before another user brought the link. I was the first person who gave you the answer :D and by the time you checked Steam's notifications again, both answers were already posted, most likely. Anyway, this is getting way off-topic, haha.
4. Why are SINGLEPLAYER games that have EOS added? what the f*ck ? for online multiplayer games, okay... I get it, but for story-driven, offline games.... that's sketchy as hell.
5. Why do some old games receive updates that add remove Steamworks and add EOS in its place?? wtf are the publishers behind those games thinking?? do they hate Valve / Steam? thanks to them, they got rich... e.g. Killing Floor 2.
Jesus... I wish Valve would be more active / defensive, when it comes to 3rd party data harvesting tools / even 3rd party launchers and say NO to them... reject the publishers' games being uploaded on Steam if they make use of stupid launchers or external telemetry services... I mean Valve has the POWER to do this, being the dominant company in PC gaming platforms. Ahh... sorry for the rant.
