Does their Special Rules mean they don't have any presense on the board at all?

Thanks for the feedback. Fire element has felt like the weakest start, so that's something I could look into if I update this Spirit.You could try Earth then Water, feels the strongest. Avatar State is definitely your strongest move, which I think I will eventually nerf.

I played a 2 player game with Avatar and River, with no adversary. We won, destroying the last building near the beginning of phase 3. Avatar definitely felt like the weaker of the 2. I started with fire and moved down to air, I had just reached water at the end of the game. It was really tough not being able to play 2 cards for half the game. I felt like I spent a lot of time trying to get going and then still had trouble dealing with 2 things at once. I probably would have been more powerful if I had just reclaimed and entered the avatar state most turns instead of trying to learn a second element.
