CNW C40-8

The GE C40-8 is a 6 axle diesel locomotive built between 1987 and 1992. In total 581 units were produced, with most having been owned by Union Pacific. Chicago and Northwestern owned 77 C40-8s, with some of them being classified as C42-8s. All CNW C40-8s later were acquired by Union Pacific. Now, most of them are owned by Canadian National, and are still rostered as of 2021.

5- Front Headlight

7+ Unused

Enter the locomotive cab via the seat blocks located under the door. You may need to crouch after exiting the driver’s seat. Coupler controls are located near the front and rear steps. Use wiring tool to find the buttons for the coupler if having trouble.
