Kuvaus
EpsTweak is a series of small mods that tweak the balance of Civ 6. Rather than put all of them into one hefty package, I've split them into small fragments to allow you to make your own custom rulesets.


This mod balances a large portion of the City-States across game. Underpowered ones are buffed, overpowered ones are nerfed. Some have their effects replaced entirely because they're impossible to balance. And the city-states that provide extra Improvements to build have their descriptions simplified to make them easier to read.



Anshan (Babylon): Science from Works of Writing reduced from 2 to 1.

Antanarivo: Each Graet Person provides +1% Culture instead of 2%. The 30% cap is unchanged.

Armagh: Monastery - District adjacency provides Science instead. Description simplified to make it easier to read.

Bandar Brunei (Jakarta): Trading Posts provide +1 Production instead of Gold.

Caguana: Batey description simplified to make it easier to read.

Cahokia: Cahokia Mound description simplified to make it easier to read.

Chinguetti: Effect replaced, now reads "+3 Faith from each Trade Route."

Fez: Science granted per citizen of the converted city reduced from 20 to 15 (7.5 on Online speed.)

Granada: Alcázar description simplified to make it easier to read.

Kandy: Effect replaced, now reads "All your Apostles start with a free Martyr Promotion. +2 Culture from each Relic."

Kumasi: Culture per district added to Trade Routes reduced from 2 to 1. Gold bonus removed entirely.

La Venta: Colossal Head can now be built on Snow, and is reworked - +2 Faith, +1 Culture. +1 Extra Faith if the tile has Charming Appeal.

Lahore: Instead of getting +15 strength from each encampment building, Nihang's get +10 strength from the first two and +20 strength from the Military Academy.

Lisbon: Now also provides +1 Trade Route Capacity.

Mexico City: Now also provides +30% Production towards buildings in Industrial Zones, Entertainment Complexes, and Water Parks.

Muscat: Amenities granted by each Commercial Hub increased from 1 to 2.

Nalanda: Mahavihara - Science adjacency bonus removed. Description simplified to make it easier to read.

Nan Madol: Districts next to water tiles provide +1 Culture and Gold instead of +2 Culture.

Nazca: Nazca Line description simplified to make it easier to read.

Ngazargamu (Carthage): Gold discount per Encampment building reduced from 20% to 10%.

Preslav: Now also grants +2 Loyalty in each city regardless if it has an Encampment or not.

Rapa Nui: Moai can be built on more terrain types. Description simplified to make it easier to read.

Samarkand: Trading Dome description simplified to make it easier to read.

Venice (Amsterdam, Antioch): Trade Routes receive +2 Gold per Luxury at the destination. (Up from +1)

Vilnius: Effect replaced, now reads "Culture Bomb adjacent tiles when you build a Campus or Theater Square."

Yerevan: Effect replaced, now reads "Your Apostles have +5 Religious Combat strength."

Is there a mod that changes Muscat to "commercial hub buildings each provide one amenity" so that it scales better?

The Armagh monastery science bonus isn't working for me. The builder tooltip does show +1 science when next to two districts and +2 with four. But the actual yields after building it never have science, no matter where I build them.

the most necessary changes are not present. Constantly you have to turn off cities with all sorts of stupid improvements like a batey and a trading dome

Nice mod! The buffs were so needed and you make them awesome. But the nerfs hurt a little. If you could make a version with only the buffs I would appreciate! Thanks for the good work!
