If you do that then you don't have to worry about the "Set DeusEx.JCDentonMale bCheatsEnabled True" command not working if you change your character name or if the game just wants to be finicky.
But if you don't make room in your inventory, you can repeat the sequence over and over. And each time he makes his speech, you get, I think, 500XP. You can run this over until your XP is full and all your skills leveled up.
Also when your rifle skill is fully powered up, a 30.06 bullet is as good as a rocket for breaking open doors and destroying cameras, etc. Saving valuable rocket ammo! I still keep the rocket anyway, because launching white phosphorous at people is a funny and effective way of dealing with them, good when you're in your brother's hotel room and the weirdoes start attacking. That'll put 'em on the back foot!

There's another secret in the game. To keep you items & weapons after being tossed in jail, but its only in the PS2 version of the game.
