Deus Ex 2: Invisible War - Debug Guide & Secrets

I will show you how to enable Debug Mode & let you in on some Game Secrets that can be found in DX2.

1. Intro

DX2 Debug Mode permits all that other codes don't, mainly, all biomods or a precise mod at a precise level, weapon generation and a few other usefull things as well.

2. Enabling Debug Mode

Backup your DX2UI.ini file, which can be found in the game's /System folder.
The original should be modifed like so:

Find the tag named "[DebugMenu]" and modify the data to match this:

Once done, save this and load the game. You'll notice a menu in the screen on the lower right. To use it, load or start a game, Press escape to bring down the HUD, and scroll the menu with your mouse, to go back one section in the Debug Mode, press Backspace.

3. Disabling Debug Mode

Once your done, you can save your game, exit, switch back to your old DX2UI.ini and resume gameplay, to get rid of the debug menu.

4. Invulnerable/Aiming Accuracy/More Ammo

First, backup the Default.ini, then alter the Default ini by making the numbers on each line ending just like the following:

5. How to get the Game Endings

ApostleCorp:
- Upload Aquinas to JC Denton
- Use JC's machine at the statue
- JC must survive

Illuminati:
- Upload Aquinas to Illuminati
- Kill JC and Paul
- Destroy JC's machine at the statue
- Chad Dumier or Nicolette DuClare must survive

Templars:
- Upload Aquinas to Templars
- Kill JC and Paul
- Use JC's machine at the statue
- Saman must survive

Renegade:
- Kill JC, Paul, Chad Dumier, Nicolette DuClare and Saman
- Destroy JC's machine at the statue
(Do not upload Aquinas to anyone as you may trigger another ending by mistake)

Warp Party:
- At Liberty Island, go to the UNATCO map.
You will see a UNATCO Flag in the first room. Pick it up.

- Take the flag to Manderly's office, and go into the bathroom.
Drop the flag in the bathroom, then flush the toilet.

- You'll then be transported to a hilarious party ending!

Note: Who is at the party depends on what characters you kill throughout the game.

"Use backspace to go back one menu..."
This only works after you hit ESCAPE and are actually playing the game.

For example:
- Hit ESC to be able to pause game and navigate the debug menu
- Click on the menu item you want to select
- Hit ESC to leave debug menu and unpause game
- Hit backspace to go BACK in the debug menu

What does the "More Ammo" actually do? I put the values to 9.0, but the game still doesnt let me pick up more ammo, Does this Cheat change the amount we pick up? and not the total I can carry?

I agree with the blog to make the Debug Menu, but the files are NOT available on Steam DL. It only puts a link on my HDD

Would be nice and POSSIBLE IF Steam allowed those files to be on our HDD, but NOOOO. Noy ONE file, other than the link to steam, Some one in China might get free games, or CHEAT,eww
