Grid Ruler

Description
Ever needed a tool to align the ingame grid easy and quickly to your needs but found nothing in the workshop? Me neither, so I made something. Maybe you'll like it too.

I'm using it on battlemaps and regular maps for distance measuring. When using the "Grid" as measure-unit within the line-tool and a correctly scaled grid, we can display the equivalent distance in meter, kilometer, feet, miles or whatever you are using. For example 1.5 meters or 5 feet per grid for D&D, by aligning the ruler with 10 fields and setting the scaling to 15 for meter or to 50 for feet.

The Grid Ruler is designed for rectangular-grids but it also works with hexagon-grids. Its minimalistic build doesn't use any external resources, only existing stock-assets, to ensure longtime usability and compatibility. Just 10 simple flattened cubes attached to each other and some labels, inputs and buttons from LUA. Feel free to adapt or reuse my code.

Thank you. My campaign runs mostly outdoors, so the hex-grid works best for my purposes. You could add a grid select. but not needed.. wow, thank you!

@Lasrin: Never intended to use the Grid Ruler for hex-grids, nor thought there would ask someome so quickly for it. But if my first commentator already does, what choice do i have?

Check out Version 2.01 with a rudimentary hex-grid compatibility. The Grid Ruler doesn't change the grid-type anymore and I've added an approximated scaling-factor. The line-tool is using the narrow side of the hex-field, and therefore i've used that as said factor. Don't know why TTS is using a different scaling on hex-grids than on everywhere else, but i hope this works well enough for you.
