Range Games

​Owing to the semi nomadic lifestyle of the range, easily transportable items like dice are the basis for most games played by the Texan people. It is almost expected that a rider out on the range would have a set of dice with them, ready for a quick game with whoever they may encounter. Traditionally, these dice are distinguished by having the 1 side replaced with a star design and special rules are often employed when it is rolled.

Included here are a set of rules for a few of the more common games played by Texan Rangers. Additionally, a facsimile of some of the currency used by these folks when gambling - a Comanche coins and Galveston "Salt Dollars" issued on behalf of the Nohl Trading Company.

This was inspired by the After the End mod and its fanfork for Crusader Kings II.
