Best steamworks RPG maker game ever!!!! :D

*** Schizo Quest 3.0 Is out and on the Steam Workshop, Go play that version!!! ***

Are you playing the 2.5 version, or the 3.0 Beta? In about a week the 3.0 game will be live on the Workshop.

If its 2.5, I don't recall what level that area was balanced for. Jacksawjack has a lets-play on youtube of that version. It works well as a general Guide. BTW, Jacksawjack is current posting the 3.0 Lets-play.

Also, sorry for the delay in response. Life has been very, very busy lately.

This game is pretty awesome so far but I'm having a bit of trouble with Janus. Are the Sin Manefestations able to be beaten? If so, what sort of level shoudl I be before I attempt it?

Okay, I figured it out. While it may not be that important, it may help to at least have the NPCs say why the match will not start.

I'm a bit lost on Tragic. I create a deck using the starting cards (Slime, Bat, Spider) and am asked if I want to play by an NPC who says he'll wager a hornet for a slime. I say okay, he says come back with the card he wants. I edit the deck to that only the spider and bat are in it, I say okay, message box closes and nothing is said or happens.

Is this intentional or am I misunderstanding something? Do I need more cards before I can agree to play against the NPCs? Will they not play if I use a wagered card in my deck? If I need the wagered card not in deck and also need a full deck perhaps the NPCs could say "You don't have a full deck" or "You can't use a deck with the wager in it".

*UPDATE* Schizo Quest 3.0 Beta is live. This workshop page won't be updated any further, but will remain online so players can finish their 2.5 games. Once all the bugs are worked out of version 3.0 I will publish it to a different workshop page. If you would like to participate in the beta, the link to the client is in this workshop page's description.

Schizo Quest 2.5 saves are not compatible with Schizo Quest 3.0.
Remember, this is a beta, so your saved games may be invalidated due to patches... you have been warned.

Ya its a shame that most of the games are full fledged works of enjoyment such as this one, but there are some good 'short story' like titles on the Steam Workshop still.

@The_west_winds: The game doesn't really hit its stride until chapter two. I hope you enjoy it.
I was very surprised that I didn't see very many non-episodic games on the workshop.
