Description
What this mod does:

This mod does two things
  • Doubles the amount of items in stock for all shops / traders / merchants / caravans
  • Gives shops more cats (money) to buy items with (the amount depends on the shop)

Why this mod exists:

Other mods exist that give shops more items however I have found that they generally alter the vendor lists available in shops in such a way as to break game balance (making Meitou weapons, AI cores etc purchasable in places and quantities that they did not ought to be), this mod simply increases the item cap for each merchant thus giving shops more stock of the items that they would usually sell.

For those wanting a more drastic increase in shop items / money but still want to have to explore to find top tier items I have made an alternative version of this mod with 5x items and significantly more cats per shop called Big Business Extreme Edition.

Details:

It is recommended that you import your save game after installing this mod.

All shops have had their 'vendors fill total amount' values doubled.

The amount more money available in stores depends on what they sell as well as their location, currently a rough guide would be:
  • Bars: Either 25,000 or 50,000 depending on location & type (e.g. Black Market Bars have 50k)
  • Bakeries & Farm Shops: Mostly 25,000
  • General Stores & Trade Goods: Mostly 50,000 with some exceptions (e.g. in Heng and Heft)
  • Adventurer Shops: Almost all 50,000
  • Weapon & Armour Shops: Mostly 75,000 but some higher tier ones have more
  • Robotics Shops: 100,000 - 150,000 Depending on limb qualities available
  • Scraphouse and Armour King: 250,000
  • Shinobi Thieves: Currently 100,000 but this may change in the future

Other traders (Hive Shops, Caravans, Farms, Nomad Villages, Stone Camps etc.) vary from as low as 12,500 to as high as 50,000.

PLEASE NOTE: Regardless of what I set the vendor money value to there is some random variance (not sure how much exactly but from in game testing it seems to be able to reach about 30% up or down).

Town overrides (when a town changes faction) should all now be accounted for however if you notice any I have missed please leave a comment and I will get them added.

Compatibility Notes:
  • The changes in this mod will only affect vanilla shops (or those that are using vanilla squad templates if added in a mod)
  • This mod will conflict with mods that alter either the 'vendor money' or 'vendors fill total amount' values and may conflict with other mods affecting squad templates for shops so make sure to have whichever mod you want to take precedence last in your load order

The blocked building issue is a known problem with some of the clutter reduction mods. I also have no issue with shop regeneration again is most likely other mods causing the issue and not this specific one.

This mod is fine and much more balanced than the alternative, thanks!

I checked about the bug related to the entrance of the building, the situation about the building goes over when I save and play the game again, so I think I went over the situation by loading the game again, not because of this mod,

I hope the situation is not because of this mode,
Because I like this mode because I think it's the most appropriate mode for the store

This mod doesn't change any cells / buildings / npc placements so it is unlikely this mod is causing the issue (the only thing this mod changes are the caps on vendor lists and available money for vendors).

There are known issues with the pathing for some buildings in Kenshi, specifically the "Bughouses" like the ones in Squin, sometimes you can fix the issue by resetting the game's navmesh or closing and reloading the game but there is also a mod you could try to fix it.

I like this mod but I had no choice but to give up, I saw 2 situations

I have eight people

Four people went into Squin's weapon store, four people couldn't go in, even four people inside couldn't come out, turned off the mode, and the situation was end

At the entrance of the city of Squin, two npc trying to get closer to each other, turning off the mode, the two walked into the town

Arrangements are placed at the bottom, I use 8 modes, simple modes, no big mode, no mod changing ai,

As stated in the compatibility notes, any mod that affects the specific values mentioned in the editor will conflict in so far as they are both changing the same values, that doesn't mean you can't use another mod that affects those values however, just that whichever you want to take effect needs to be loaded last.
