Jailbreak: Prisoner Basics

This guide will teach you the basics to Jailbreak servers in TF2, such as Terms people use, games, techniques and much more!
I hope you learn from my guide so you are not mindless on arival to a server and have a fighting chance.

Basics and Terms

Do what the warden says, the Warden is the head cheif of the prison and he/she tells the prisoners what to do.

Your guns are stripped from you at the beginning of the round and you only have your melee weapons unless you goto the armory to get ammo.

Dont go in armory unless you want to rebel.

You can tell who is the warden by chat and it will popup saying who has taken the position, or just take orders from whoevers talking on the mic ( if the server you play on does not require mics to be on blue team/guards then you should not play there! )

The other guards on the blue team will most likely be there to kill you if you do not obey.

Armory: Part of the map which has ammo for your guns, your are (KOS) Kill.On.Sight if you are in it.

TERMS

Out of Cell Rebel : Basicly, if you come out of your cell/cage you will be killed.

Rebel: a rebel is a red/prisoner who is betraying orders,attacking,behaving poorly or unresponsive.

"No Detours and Delays!" : When a guard adds this to an order it means you may not go to a different path to get to the desired area or take too long to get there or you will be killed.

Afk Freeze Easy to follow, dont move at all, if you are dealing with a Mr.Literal, just keep your hands off your mouse and keyboard or you will be killed.

Freekill / Freekilling is when a guard kills you or other prisoners without a valid reason or randomly, which on all servers is punishable.

BAITING: If a guard/blue is in melee range of you (hitting range of weapon) then you may hit him at will, but do not persue him or move towards him, only if he is in your range to hit may you hit him (unless server does not have a baiting policy but thats just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid right?)

Those are the basic terms you will need to know before playing, you will most likely learn more along the way whilst playing.

Types of guards and wardens

The Rage Warden: Freekilling, out of control. These guys are usually just 10 year old kids who think they need to be in charge 24/7, if an admin is on and the warden is freekilling/breaking server rules it would be a good idea to end the suffering of your fellow prisoners by getting rid of him, or do /fire if the server has it to fire the warden.




















THE FREEKILLER,a good example:

Randomly killing reds for his/her self enjoyment, mostly because they have a small penis or low self-esteem.





[(i] The Mr.Literal [/i]) These guys take everything seriously as warden, they will try to trick you with rules that have meanings you may not understand, such as rebels going to the yellow line, that is grade A trickery and you shouldnt follow any order followed after rebel.

Serious Sam: Angry all the time, strict orders, you will hate them.

Average Andy: Prisoners usually get to play more games, funner rounds and all around good guy.

Map Games and Day types

On the server there will be games you will most likely be appointed to play as prisoner.

These are basic games most servers have on the map or play,

Simon Says: This game is revolved around tarping the reds. The game must start off with the person becoming Simon to say “Simon says we are now playing Simon Says” and “Simon says I'm Simon." When the “Simon says” phrase is said, the reds must do what Simon tells them to do. If they don’t follow what he says, he can kill you. If he doesn't say “Simon says” and you do the order he said, you can be killed.

First Reaction, Last Reaction ( This is a game of reactions, when the warden says first reaction (ACTION) you do not do it, just dont do it!! when he says last reaction, the last person to do that action dies.

Example:

Warden: First Reaction, JUMP (Do not do this, the first person who does it dies)

Warden: Last Reaction, CROUCH! (QUICKLY, crouch and try not to be last or you could end up dead!)

^-- Most likely the warden will mix them around before saying it trying to trick you, just try to listen carefully and dont be to keyhappy.

Warday: a day where a certain area of the map is KOS between guards and prisoners, basicly you go to their area and try to kill them.

FREEDAY! Usually most servers have the first day of the new map as a freeday, a freeday is just a day where prisoners can do whatever they want EXCEPT GO INTO ARMORY armory is KOS unless direct orders are given to go to it.

Last Request : Congratulations! if you get last request or LR, you will get to choose what to do for the time being or next round depending on if the server has a last request menu or not, (you only get last request if you are the last prisoner alive, rebels do not get last requests.)


Other types of days the wardens or admins will most likely describe what to do, if not you can just ask them, these are the basics for you to know! :D

Class Advantages and Rebeling

Scout;

Can be used to flee guards, activate buttons to escape, or just avoid the fire of the Guards and traps. This class is useful in all areas. Not to be used to take down a group of guardsalone, but can be used to assassinate the Warden.

Soldier;

Used to take down the Warden at a safe distance, but can also take out Guards hiding behind obstacles and blind corners.

Pyro;

Can also be used to take down Warden, but should hide behind corners and obstacles to ambush Guards.

Demoman;

Can also be used to kill Guards hiding behind corners and obstacles. Also useful for setting traps and lobbing grenades into pockets of teammates to hide the grenade.

Heavy;

High health and damage make the Heavy perfect for leading rebellions and taking down Guards. Should be protected at all costs.

Medic;

Highly recommended for use due to healing abilities. This class is used to keep rebellions and their minions alive. Can also be used to heal injured teammates when health is not readily available. A second high priority target to keep alive.

Spy;

This class is useful for taking out unsuspecting Guards. Also useful for distracting Guards by sapping an Engineer's buildings. Highly useful for taking down the Warden.

Sniper;

While not useful in the initial stages of a Rebellion, the Sniper can be used to effectively take down the remaining Guards or counter any attempts to put down the Rebellion. Should be ferried to ammunition as soon as possible.

Extra Techniques / Rebel Tactics

Attack the guards when they least expect it. After orders are given to go to a specific place, branch off and run for the armory or go for one of the police and beat them down with your melee weapon.

If you happen to lose or mess up a command and you are trying to be killed, immediately try to rebel and hurt them as much as you can.

Hide inside your cell and wait for the guards to move to a different area and explore the map, searching for ammo to come and kill the guards/warden and rescue your fellow prisoners.

Follow the wardens rules and obey until you gain their trust, once you have attempt to rebel and kill them.

The warden is your top priority, take him down first instead of other guards, as long as you get him your death will not have been useless.
