Bomber Crew 100% Achievement Guide

Pretty easy game to get 100% achievements. Most of them you'll get naturally just by playing the game. The rest that you don`t get are easy, but the only four that you gotta keep an eye on are:

1. Seven Survive Seven - Complete a successful mission with all 7 crew surviving
   
2. Tour Of Duty - Have one of your crew survive 30 missions
   
3. Ace of Aces - Defeat all Enemy Aces (in one campaign)(make sure you find and kill aces whenever you see a mission with one)
   
4. Qualified - Fully level up a crew member

How long to beat:
Main Story - 12h - 20h
Completion - 22h - 25h

Complete the tutorial and you'll unlock this.

Its a part of tutorial, all you have to do is move 1 of your crew member to front part of the plane and take the photo once you are above the objective.

There are 2 ways go to do this quickly:

1. Take off and then immediately call for an emergency landing with the pilot, the mission will fail, but it counts as flying it.

2. You can take off and then immediately abort mission, it will add to missions flown, but will not effect the progress of missions(let me know if this still works).

V1 Destroyer

V1 Destroyer
Shoot down a V1 Rocket

You require a mission where you have to bomb V1 launch sites, they are early in the game(i believe 3rd story block, its a non story mission), be careful because Aces tend to appear in these mission types):

1. Start the mission with V1 launch site.
   
2. As soon you approach, do not bomb it, just wait and see if a V1 rocket launches(counter will appear).
   
3. As soon as it launches, mark it like you would any other plane and try to fly into the same direction.
   
4. It is very weak and as soon you shot it down, the achievement will pop up.

Grand Slam

Destroy a target using the Grand Slam bomb

The grand slam bomb is unlocked later in the game, its campaign related because you cannot destroy a target without using the grand slam bomb.

Focused Four

Focused Four
Use 'focus' on all 4 gunner stations at once (Main Campaign)

Simple achievement, you'll need to progress a little in the game for this, here is what you need to do:

1. Have 4 gunners and level them up to at least level 3 so you unlock the "focus" perk.
   
2. Train secondary skill on all of them.
   
3. Buy a turret under the plane.
   
4. Start any mission,
   
5. Move your gunners to the turrets.
   
6. Activate focus on all of them.

Part of the tutorial, put a crew member in bombardier position and release the bombs.

Destroy 200 enemy targets

There is no real guide here, it just simply takes time, but here are couple tips that may help:

• Targets are buildings that you hit with a bomb on the ground, enemy planes do not count.
  
• Submarines do not count.
  
• Intel Photographs do not count(seems obvious, but i see people asking).
  
• Supply runs do not count.
  
• Flak and machine gun nets do not count, but also they can't be destroyed.
  
• By the time you finish the campaign you should have around 100 destroyed targets, unless you grinded and followed some of my other achievement guides.
  
• Try to choose missions with multiple targets.
  
• Missions that have objectives that require you to guard ships that are about to blow will count as destruction, so let them get destroyed.
  
• If there are no missions with many targets available, quit the game and join back in, it should generate more missions.
  
• Achievement tracker counts the targets as you destroy them, you do not have to fully complete the mission.
  
• Destroyed targets count even if you fail the mission or emergency land.

Missions with many targets:

• 5 Targets close to each other - Doodleburg Blitz(short missions)
  
• 5 Targets further apart- Operation Chariot(medium length mission)
  
• 5 Targets - V1 Launch Sites
  
• 3-4 Targets - Operation Overlord

Ace of Aces

This can be a pain if you do it later but there is an easy, but grindy way early on:

1. Start a new game.
   
2. Do not choose the first critical mission(the fifth, marked red).
   
3. Keep replaying the other one that is offered.
   
4. Every fourth mission will be about dropping supplies to a guy floating in the sea.
   
5. Aces will show up as soon you see the marker for the guy.
   
6. Focus on the ace and kill him.

TIP Upgrade turrets with ammo refills, use Incendiary fire and unlock the ability to call spitfires.

NOTE There are total of 8 Aces, the sooner you kill them, they will be less of a pain later on in game.

Fifty Fighters

There no easy way to get this, just play the game and you will encounter more then enough enemy fighters to destroy. Towards the end of campaign you should be close in unlocking this achievement.
If you are gonna do the "Two hundred Targets", you are most definitely gonna get this achievement. So you don't really need to pay much attention to this one.

Sinking Feeling

Sink 5 Submarines

Easy achievement, missions will randomly appear through the entire game, requiring you to sink enemy submarines that are attacking your allies, throw a bomb on top of them and you will sink them even if they are going underwater(as long its a direct hit, like you would if they were on surface).

Complete a successful mission with the full crew surviving

Once you are able to recruit 7 crew members, finish the mission with all 7 surviving.

Its recommended you do this early on in the game(right after you complete the tutorial), follow this steps:

• Do only normal missions, avoid critical ones(red).
  
• Upgrade plane, weapon and crew armor.
  
• Don't proceed with the story too much, as it gets harder to keep everyone alive.
  
• Administer first aid to injured crew members during missions, and you can use the resting bed for the critical crew members, just make sure you do that before you land.

NOTE You can keep replaying the first four missions if you do not choose the first critical mission(red), if you ignore it and choose the other missions, you will find that it cycles you through first four missions again, but do not worry, you still get experience and money for upgrades.

Tour Of Duty

Have one of your crew survive 30 missions

you can do this 2 ways:

1. First one is easy. you can take off and then immediately abort mission, it will add to missions flown, but will not effect the progress of missions(let me know if this still works).

2. Do it early in game, avoid critical missions(red), upgrade your plane, give max defensive gear to at least one crew member that you are trying to keep alive, make sure he is never low health and in case he is, aid him during mission and also use the bed to rest him and bring his health up.

NOTE In case your crew member dies or your plane gets shot down, pause the game before the mission ends(no matter the success or failure), quit to main menu and back into the game, it will bring you back to the point before you started the mission.

Qualified

Qualified
Fully level up a crew member

Maximum level is 12, it will take you around 40-50 missions to level a crew member up(you can combine this with other crew achievements), additional you can put "medic" skill as secondary, because it only levels up to lvl 4, and the primary skills is the one that counts towards the achievement as far i can tell.

Double Qualified

Fully level up a crew member in two skills

Follow the Qualified guide and you should get this.

Bail Out!

Bail out your entire crew

Couple ways to do it, depends if you want them alive or not:

1. Buy "Mk. 2 Equipment Storage", enough to hold 7 survival parachutes. Have the pilot issue the bail out command, wait till everyone gets their parachute and then manually tell the pilot to grab his and manually bail him out(use the hatch).

2. Second method that people are mentioning but i cannot confirm because i already got it. Fly at high attitude, make the pilot go to the wing first, then the crew couple seconds later, the plane will nose dive and the crew will fall off and die(obviously), but you will get the achievement.

Skeleton Crew

Complete a mission and land at the airbase with 2 or fewer crew members surviving

You can do this early or late game, depends if you wanna kill off experienced crew or newbies at the begging of the game.

1. As you progress in the game, you will unlock the skill called "Emergency dive", put 5 crew on the wing(make sure you leave 2 crew alive obviously), perform the emergency dive, but make sure no one has parachutes because the goal is to kill 5 crew members and leave only 2 alive.

2. Second method can be done in new campaign:

• Start one of the 3 easy missions, complete at least the main objective(i believe the supply drop is the easiest).
  
• When you have done the main objective, send your bomber back to base.
  
• get close enough to tag the airbase for landing, but keep the landing gear up.
  
• once you are close enough to your airbase, you are safe from attacks, so start climbing to the highest attitude, but note that the plane can still sadly break down.
  
• order 5 crew members to go on the wing, fast forward time and you should circle the runway high up, and eventually they will die from exposure.
  
• as soon the fifth person is gone, send the plane to low attitude, lower the gears and it should auto land if there are no hydraulic or electronic failures.
  
• in case you are struggling to keep the 2 crew alive, you can equip them with thermal underwear set and strip the rest of the crew with anything that will help you against cold/o2 and breakdowns.

TIP From user "Rabbisky", later on in game, once you unlock the ability to "dive", you can leave your pilot and navigation crew in the plane(total of 2 crew members), the rest order to go on the wing, go high attitude, order your pilot to make a nose dive and once the crew has fallen, return to your base. Just make sure you make a save file before doing this.

Repair an engine mid-flight

When the engine gets damaged, you will get the option to repair it(wrench icon), send any crew member to repair it, but make sure you don't do any sudden movements, otherwise he will fall of the plane.
Unless off course you hate that crew member and want him gone by any means necessary, its good way to get rid of someone when you think about it. After all, accidents happen right?

Running On Fumes

Complete a mission and land at the airbase with less than 5% fuel remaining

Best way i found doing this is:

• Choose a easy mission and do the objective.
  
• Head back towards the base at low attitude.
  
• Open the bomb bay doors and lower the landing gear.
  
• Send your engineer to flight engineer station to monitor the fuel level.
  
• Set a custom headings and fly till your engineer says your are low on fuel.
  
• Once you landed 1 of your tanks should be empty and the other one should be below the red line, and the achievement is yours.

One Engine

One Engine
Land at the airbase with only one working engine

This achievement is tricky. You need to make sure your plane has 1 working engine(the other 3 need to have a wrench icon for repairs or be fully missing from the plane). The landing gear must not be damaged, attempting to land with damaged landing gear will most likely result in more damages and plane being destroyed, but if only the wing is damaged, you can attempt to land. Here are the requirement that you should have:

• High armor on the entire plane(to protect the crew) and on wings(to protect the landing gear).
  
• Put high armor engine only on one(preferably the one on inside), the rest as little armor as possible.
  
• High level gunners with option to call spitfires ability, to back you up.
  
• Medkits and Fire Extinguishers is a must.

V1 destroyer is by far the worst since if you don't get it mid game you cant do it late game and need to restart the campaign, would be nice to be able to do it late game as well.

"200 targets" note:
I was at 197 targets (I was grinding RP & money for upgrades), I did the mission to sink the submarines and I managed to hit the achievement, therefore SUBMARINES COUNT AS BOMBING TARGETS - You might need to amend the guide.

In Two Hundred Targets, although photographs don't count, bombing intel sites does count. You can even take the photograph and then immediately drop the bomb and still get the reward for it.

You can bomb intel targets and it counts towards the 200 ground targets killed. Take a picture AND bomb for max reward.
