Have no fear! Amy Rose is here! She has arrived to rain hammer down upon her challengers with the power of her Piko Piko Hammer! You'd best better hope that you don't have to fight her, especially if your name is Sonic the Hedgehog!

Amy Rose has entered the world of Aether and is ready to take on anyone who stands in her way! She is a full rushdown character, and she can easily overwhelm anyone with her kit! Her weapon of choice is none other than her iconic Piko Piko Hammer, one that she can summon out of thin air at will! Much like Sonic, Amy is also able to spindash! This cheerful go-getter is no pushover, so be sure not to underestimate her, or she might be bashing your head in next!

The Moveset

Normals:

Jab: Boxing Jab - Amy temporarily summons her boxercise gloves to shove opponents away!

Dash Attack: Rose Dive - Amy crashes into her opponents by diving forwards and sliding across the stage!

Forward Tilt: Piko Piko Hammer - Amy brings forth her Piko Piko Hammer for a deliberate strike!

Down Tilt: Spindash Tackle - Curl into a spindash and burst into your foes! This move travels forwards a fair distance.

Up Tilt: Rose Twist - Amy jumps up and performs a multi-hitting twist attack!


Aerials:

Neutral Air: Spindash Airburst - Amy curls into a spindash while flying through the air!

Forward Air: Piko Meteor - Amy ferociously swings the Piko Piko Hammer for a devastating attack that can send potentially send opponents downwards. Amy can Pogo Bounce when landing a hit with this move to stay in the air a little longer, so use that to your advantage!

Up Air: Piko Riser - Amy pulls out her Piko Piko Hammer for a powerful upwards swing. The move is stronger at the start of the swing.

Back Air: Rose Roundhouse - A powerful kicking attack that Amy learned from Sonic! It's fast, hits hard, and gets the job done.

Down Air: Spindash Stomp - Curl into a spindash and drag your opponents down to the ground! If you use this attack offstage, you can cancel out of it shortly after using the move by jumping or airdodging.


Strongs:

Forward Strong: Maximum Piko - Amy slams down the Piko Piko Hammer, with a lot of meaning!

Down Strong: Piko Topspin - Amy spins with the Piko Piko Hammer for a dangerous multihit move! You can also move sideways a little during the attack phase of this move! Keep that in mind!

Up Strong: Spindash Jumper - Another move that Amy learned from Sonic, but she puts her own little S P I N on the attack! Ha! Get it? Because it's a spindash? Eh!? Eh!? Okay, I'll stop.


Specials:

*Neutral Special: Piko-Nado Whirlwhind - Amy spins with the Piko Piko Hammer to summon a wind borne projectile that deals a fixed amount of knockback. Opponents can also be damaged if they walk into Amy while she is creating the whirlwind.

*Forward Special: Piko-Nado Twister - Amy uses her Piko Piko Hammer to dash forwards for a breezing strike. The move is more powerful at the beginning. Additionally, be aware that the move can go past the ledge, and will put Amy into special fall if she is airborne after using the move.

Down Special: Ultra Hammer - Amy pulls out a GINORMOUS hammer and charges up for a devastating attack with incredible launch power and damage output! The move also has super armor right before the attack comes out!

Up Special: Olympic Special - Amy spins her way into the air, dragging any opponents that come in contact with her as she ascends. She'll end the move with a finishing trick that boosts her up a little more! This move is really good for killing off the top!


*Gimmick: Tempest Rose - NSPECIAL and FSPECIAL are both affected by a small gimmick that Amy has, which I'm calling Tempest Rose. Essentially, using either NSPECIAL or FSPECIAL activates a short cooldown on both moves regardless of which one you use. The cooldown is only about one to two seconds long, and there is a tornado-looking icon in Amy's HUD that indicates whether or not you can use a Tempest Rose move. This gimmick exists because both moves are forms of Piko-Nado.
