Fixing resolution issues on larger moniters

So I am running 2560x1440 and Battle brothers was not launching properly, it was in the top right corner of my screen and not going into fullscreen or changing resolutions properly. I found a fix that worked, But windows 10 kind of changes the way it works, so instructions were semi unclear, so I will explain them more clearly here.

Short instructions first, longer explanation to follow:

TLDR Short Instructions: Properties of Battle Brothers EXE in BB Directory win32 folder--> Compatibility settings --> Change High DPI Settings --> Override high DPI scaling behavior --> Change from Application to System.

1. Locate the Battle Brothers EXE File.
To do this, right click battle brothers in Steam Library, click Properties
Go to Local Files and open the local folder for Battle Brothers.

2. You should have 4 folders in the Battle Brother folder, you want the Win32 Folder. Open the folder.

3. Scroll down a little until you see the Battle Brothers Application file (the .exe, it will have the battle brothers icon instead of just files)

4. Right-Click on the battle brother icon, left click on Properies, and then the Compatibility tab.

5. At the bottom of that box you should see "Change high DPI Settings" Click that.

6. Another window will open, you want to check the box at the bottom that says
"Override high DPI scaling behavior.
Scaling performed by: Application"

You want to change this to System.

7. Hit OK, And launch Battle Brothers again.

If this does not work, try putting it on System (Enhanced)

I did not have to do this on my system, but regular System mode should work for most people.


IF your options in the compatibility do not look like how I explained here, it might just be a box that says "Disable scaling on high DPI settings."
