DOA6: How to use G HUB for Combo and Tutorial achievements

This is a tutorial how to use Logitech G HUB to get achievement of Combo Challenge and Tutorial in DOA6.

Requires Logitech G HUB supported device (ex. keyboard) and G HUB (free to download)

This is time consuming process. If you are handy, just play normal with controller would be much faster.

But if you cannot do any of challenge input and gave up the achievements like me, it may help.

Note: This is not suitable for online battle. Someone may think it is cheating. But actually it is very difficult to use for battle. Only achievement challenge would be good.

Also in DOA6, we cannot use both keyboard and controller as a single player. (Tekken 7 and SoulCalibur 6 can do that.)

You need Logitech G HUB and supported device (ex. keyboard)

G HUB is free to download and free to use, but it requires to device.

DOA6: Keyboard controls

Keyboard controls are following.

• J=(P:Punch)
  
• K=(K:Kick)
  
• L=(T:Throw), B (cancel)
  
• M=(H:Hold), A (OK)
  
• U=(H+K)
  
• I=(S:Special)
  
• O=(P+K)
  
• P=Demo in training
  
• F5=Display On/Off
  
• Q+O=(L3+RT) position reset in training
  
• Q=(L3) turn back in training

It's better to use arrow keys instead of WASD keys for easier to edit (and understand) in G HUB macro settings

Note: To start DOA6, press M key at title screen to enable keyboard input.

Set up G HUB

You can set up DOA6 profile but not necessary.
Then you can use Desktop profile.

If you want to add DOA6 profile, you can add the installed EXE path
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dead or Alive 6\DOA6.exe"


You can set up basic key now.
Position reset in combo challenge is Q+O key.
It is very comvenient to set up.

Set up DOA6

Change to following:

• Smaller screen size with Window (not full screen mode)
  
• Start game with keyboard (press M key at title screen)
  
• Locate G HUB app and DOA6 on side by side

Steps: Each combo challenge

Following is basic steps

1) Go to combo challenge
2) Check combo as demo
3) Verify each combo keys as example
4) Record combo in G HUB with keyboard

5) Assign to keyboard as customization
6) Run combo from keyboard customization

Note 6-1: You may need to try multiple times by the timing.
Note 6-2: Resetting position is convenient
Note 6-3: In some case, near wall is easier to continue combos

If it clear, you are done the combo challenge.
Then you can go next combo challenge.

If it does not clear, do followings.

7) Verify each input is same as 3)'s example
8) Adjust key input and timing
Note 8-1: Diagonal input seems better to use 1ms instead of 0ms delay
Note 8-2: Too long wait breaks the combo streak

9) Repeat again from 6)

Tips:
Short and basic combo can be used default 50ms timing
Diagonal input need to break down.

3(right below)+Punch is following
(right down), 1ms, (down down), 20ms, (right up), 1ms, (down up), 20ms, (J down), 20ms, (J up)

Long hold needs to hit attck button while holding arrows.

I could not do with LeiFan, but I could do Diego.

Following is good to assign each key and press by the combo order.
Manually adjustable timing.

A little complicates sample

The first 3 long hold was tricky. It need certain timing and press attack button while arrow keys are down.
