It Beats For Her is a short mystery tale set in Falkreath. You receive a note from a stranger who recruits you in his quest to find and stop a dangerous predator. But is it really a simple monster hunt or is there more to the story?

This small quest, which will take around 15 minutes to complete, is specifically aimed at players who like exploration gameplay and a subtle narrative. A keen intellect is more valuable than a sword here, though maybe don’t leave the sword at home — you never know. Don’t expect any quest markers to help you out, though!

To start the quest, go to Falkreath and wait for a courier to arrive. Going in and out of a building will make him appear right away. Alternatively, you can incorporate the quest in your normal Skyrim playthrough, and wait to come across it naturally.

this was great. short and simple but so interesting, left many questions unanswered but not so many that it feels lacking. it just raises your interest in what was going on here even more. this mod made me realize how interesting and honestly easy it would be for skyrim to include these type of quests originally, with the simple use of notes, finding keys, etc. "investigations" that actually require you to think and analyze instead of following down to the millimeter specific quest markers. really interesting story too, fits in to the world without an issue, told in a neat way, and i love that it feels like this whole incident was completely unnoticed by the rest of the world. it makes you feel empty in a good way

Kind of disappointing. It had a really good buildup but then it ended right as it got really good.

This simple mod leaves so many questions unanswered... and in doing so, makes us desire more.

It Beats For Her is short but sweet, with a subtle feel of despair that makes you feel almost lost... a feeling accentuated by the lack of quest markers, which forces you to actually think about what you're doing and as such... draws you just a little closer to the story.

Normally, I like some action to my mods... but this simple quest is a hearbreaking story that anyone can respect. I want to see more of this author... and you should too.
