Angels Canyon

Angels Canyon is a custom map inspired by the American Southwest, specifically the areas around Glen Canyon and Zion National Park in Southern Utah. The map provides a diverse range of terrain, with densely forested mountains and canyons giving way to open desert as you follow the river downstream.

While the map does not require any assets or DLC other than the base game, the Angels Canyon Map Theme and a natural light color correction such as Reaper's Photorealistic LUT will be needed if you want it to look like it does in the screenshots above.

Sankai's 25 Tiles Mod is also recommended, but not required.

Edit to add: Being inspired in part by Glen Canyon, site of one of the largest gravity-arch dams in the world[en.wikipedia.org], I've taken steps to ensure that the map's topology and water sources support the construction of large hydroelectric power plants. Sites that I've verified through play-testing have been marked in a screenshot above, as well as by abandoned vehicles on the canyon's rim within the game itself.
