Description
Simple mod that allows you to build more than one pop growth/assembly building on one planet.

This is great. It's always felt weird that you can only get one Robotocist per planet. However simply removing the cap kind of breaks the game, and causes pop numbers to balloon super aggressively. I would suggest scaling things, rather than changing a limit of "1" to "infinity".

* 1 Gene Clinic is probably fine as a limit in general. +1 twice with techs, taking total number of clinics available to 3.
* Roboticists are very strong with 2 Pop Assembly. It would be better if they had only 1 pop assembly since you can build an arbitrarily high number of buildings with this mod.

Unfortunately, I couldnt seem to get any sort of compatibility or patch mod to work. If you create a copy of the AVB mod and simply remove the 'base_cap_amount = 1' line on the relevant buildings and save it as a new mod, that should work though. The wiki is pretty helpful if you've never created a mod before but you can do it through the stellaris launcher then copy the files over.

You could do that either as a separate version for AVB or you could figure out how to do the fancy "substitute if X mod is enabled" way.

Additional Vanilla Buildings. Looking at your code, what's missing here is that your mod doesn't have line to recognize the building that it would upgrade to.

So for instance AVB adds the "Clone Bay Extruder" as an upgrade to the Clone Vat. There's no line in your mod to recognize that as a valid upgrade. So essentially any building that gets an upgrade for itself with AVB (or any other mod) is not compatible with this, since this mod only recognizes vanilla buildings

If I am reading it right, the buildings affected should be:

Cloning Vat

Spawning Pool

Robot Assembly Plant

To make them compatible, you'd need to add a line to recognize the tier-2 state of those buildings from AVB. Machine Assembly Plant works as is, and Chamber of Elevation should be fine.

@Booperius hmm, not sure how to fix that, both mods are probably overwriting the same file. Can you let me know the mod you are trying to use? I'll do some research and tinkering to see if I can fix it.

A tragic conflict to discover: this mod doesn't appear to be compatible with mods that add upgrade states for the cloning vat, or spawning pool. Anyway to fix?
