-edición de la manera en la que se reparten los premios en metálico, aunque ya estaban configurados en las anteriores versiones, al jugarla he visto que en las reglas solo aparecían 2 millones para cada equipo, que eran los que estaban configurados en una de las dos formas que había para configurar los premios económicos. Así que se han configurado solo en esa opción. 8 Millones € para el ganador/ 3 para el perdedor. Deseo que sea la última actualización.

-adelanto de 9 días en la celebración de la competición para que NUNCA se rebose al mes de Enero del año siguiente. Ya que esto no afectaba a la jugabilidad pero sí evitaba dar premios por separado en años que se jugaban dos ediciones, la del año pasado en Enero y la del año en curso en Diciembre , además así despeja el calendario para equipos de la Premier League.
-sustitución en el historial de la competición del país anfitrión por el del estadio que la alberga(ahora correcto),como en el resto de competiciones similares. Orden de sedes de las primeras 12 ediciones así como inclusión en el historial del estadio donde se celebraron todas las finales a partido único.
-Tecnología VAR.
