Anti-aliasing.. I'm not happy with that explanation.. AA does help a lot.. UNLESS you increase the resolution. Anything above 1080p.. you probably don't need AA, 1080p and below.. you might wanna smooth hard edges.
Also you keep saying "big screen". What is a big screen? 24 inches? 27? 32? 50?
Resolution settings: Max makes no sense. "Set it to your monitor's native resolution, probably 1920x1080 or 2560x1440.
"High resolution has a high cost in terms of FPS".. 4K has roughly twice the pixels as 1440p. Just write "Run the game in native resolution. If your FPS drop below 60, lower it one step.
No FPS Limit.. laptop or desktop doesn't matter. DESKTOP. What matters are the components. Locking it makes no difference. Your GPU will push the frames that it can.
"Higher fps cause heating issues with some laptops." Now that is just flat-out wrong. FPS have nothing to do with a PC's ability to cool itself. The higher the settings, the harder your PC has to work, resulting in more heat output.
well... ok ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
BTW there are settings in this guide that decrease FPS... but the goal is to increase them... hmm...
