[UPDATED 2023] HOW TO Unlock Don't Fear The Reaper Secret Ending With Console Commands

Unlock the secret ending of Cyberpunk 2077 at ANY percentage with Johnny, using just one console command!

0. BACKUP SAVES just to be safe.
1. Download releases.zip
2. Extract files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64
(Or similar if using GOG version)
3. Run Cyberpunk 2077, in Steam/GOG or without
4. Load save, hit tilde (~) (below the Escape key) to open console
5. Type command
Game.GetQuestsSystem():SetFactStr("sq032_johnny_friend", 1)
This will set affinity with Johnny to 70%, unlocking the secret ending.
6. Proceed with cutscenes, DO NOT choose an option for 4 minutes and 30 seconds
7. Agree with Johnny's plan to go in solo.
8. Probably die unless you have legendary implants and weapons.
9. Enjoy!

It's because Phantom Liberty brings you up to 85% regardless of the dialogue choice you make during Chippin' In (which I didn't initially realize). Apparently it's a bug though:

"Installing the Phantom Liberty expansion automatically sets Johnny Silverhand's relationship percentage to 85% in Cyberpunk 2077, regardless of previous actions or choices made in the base game. This change occurs upon starting the Phantom Liberty questline, and the percentage remains fixed at 85% for the remainder of the game.

This behavior is considered a design oversight or bug, as the relationship percentage is hard-coded to update to 85% when the DLC is activated, even if players have not completed certain key quests like the oil field scene."

usually the affinity is locked behind picking the right dialogue choices so thats a bit unusual... anyways this does set the flag to allow for the secret ending.

Does this just set your affinity to 70%, or does it also set some flag that the correct dialogue choices were made during Chippin' In? Because I'm already 85% affinity with Johnny but I was told I can't get the secret ending because I didn't make the correct dialogue choice earlier.

Works still. Just one thing to note, I first downloaded (at time of writing) the zip that was called "windows-latest-x64-release-pdb.zip" which only has one file in it and does not do anything for you. What I needed it seems was the "cet_1.37.1.zip" which has a couple of files in it and insta worked with not much to do on my end except on start of game pick a key to toggle the overlay on and off.

This is the most realistic game ever made, because the good ending is locked behind a bunch of secret corpo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that you need insider information to unlock. The best ending is the one with the gun.
