I can confirm they're not showing on my playthrough and I only got Quickhack components. No mods. The only deviating condition is I'm playing on Linux.
For anyone wondering, the crate ONLY shows up after you pick up the scanner mission. Otherwise it's just a mound of dirt.
Interestingly, the car next to the guy's corpse that you pick up the scanner mission is driveable even though it's clearly destroyed so I see CDPR is going for breaking BGS's record for unpatched issues.
I'm certain I did, I'll check again
Now I'm wondering if I may have found some of that gear and sold it without knowing.
How do those clothes show in the inventory? Is there anything to tell them apart from the other, normal clothes?
I found it today, did you pick up the gig near the burning car first?
