How to suicide in a TF2 match

Do you want to spontaneously combust any time you want in TF2? Are you clipping through the walls and got stuck in one? If you do, this is the guide for you. (Don't this in real life)

Setting It Up

Start up TF2.
Look near the bottom right of your window, you should see 9 buttons. Click the button with a gear on it, with no plus.

There will be a window that opens, and in that window press Advanced...

That opens a smaller window:

Click the checkbox "Enable Developer Console" and there should be a checkmark on it after you did that.

Now, Hop in a match.

In A Match

In a match, press the ~ key, not in chat.

Once you press it, a Console menu will pop up.

Type kill in the text box to die normally. This is useful if you are stuck.
Type explode in the text box if you want to have a little more fun dying. You body will explode into pieces.

Press ~ key again if you want to exit out.

Extra Information

You can also suicide by switching teams outside the spawn area.
Once you die, there will be a message saying
"username bid farewell, cruel world!"
