What are CS: GO startup options?
Game launch options can be used to change game settings before running the game. Launch options allow the user to override the game's internal settings.This is an effective way to recover from incompatible video settings and to solve a wide range of problems.

Right-click on the game title in the Steam Library and select Properties.
On the General tab,click the Set Startup Options button.
Enter the startup options you want to apply (be sure to separate each code with a space) and click OK.
Close the game properties window and start the game.

Launching the game with this launch option will remove the Valve intro that normally plays at the beginning.A must-have launch option in my opinion, as I find the intro annoying as hell.

-tickrate 128

If you create an offline ♥♥♥ game without this launch option set, the server created will run at tick rate 64. If this launch option is set, offline servers will always run at tick rate 128.

-refresh <rate> / - refreshrate <rate> / -freq <rate>

With this boot option you can force the monitor to run at a specific refresh rate. This only makes sense if the maximum refresh rate of your monitors is above 60. If it is not and you set this boot option to 120, you can seriously damage your monitor.

-high

This will start the game in high priority mode. This boot option can help gamers with low-end computers get less lag and a few more fps, but it's not a guarantee. Try this boot option,if you don't notice any performance improvement, please remove this boot option again.

-threads <number of cores / threads>

So far, I haven't been able to find definitive information on the maximum number of threads CS: GO uses and if this boot option makes sense.If you have a CPU with 4 or more cores, you can try setting -threads to the number of cores (or number of threads if you own a CPU with 2 threads / core) you have, but at this time I cannot guarantee that your performance will improve.Try it,if you don't notice any difference or your performance is actually worse, remove the boot option again.

-full / -fullscreen

This launch option forces the game to run in full screen mode.The game will ignore this launch option if the -windowed / -window / -sw / -startwindowed option is also set.

-windowed / -window / -sw / -startwindowed

This will force the game to run in windowed mode.It should not be set without also specifying -w and -h. The game will ignore this startup option,if the -full / -fullscreen option is also set.
-w <width> / -width <width>
-h <height> / -height <height>
This forces the game to start at the specified resolution, for example -w 1920 -h 1080.

-noborder

Using this startup option will remove the border that Windows puts around the window when the game is run in windowed mode.
-x <position> - horizontal
-y <position> - vertical
When the game runs borderless, you cannot move the window and it is pinned to the center of the screen.You can define the position of the window with these 2 launch options. <position> is the space in pixels you want the game to be "far" from the left and top of the screen.

-lv

Ok, this isn't really a useful launch option,but if you're bored,set it up,play a little and have a good laugh. The -lv launch option turns the game into a low-violence version. -Strike Games were supposed to be low violence versions here in Germany while CS: GO no, but the animations are still there. There is no blood and the models lie down with their hands behind their heads.

-heapsize <kilobyte>

You shouldn't use this boot option! This command was removed in CS: S,TF2 and DoD: S in 2010, I'm not 100% sure if it exists in CS: GO.Here's what Valve said in 2010: “This command made sense in Half- Life 1.The current engine manages memory in a way that does not need to be specified. In some circumstances,specifying a suboptimal heap causes crashes and / or poor performance "

+ exec autoexec

There has been a problem in CS: GO since release, that the configurations have been loaded in the wrong order.The easiest way to avoid this problem is to add host_write config to the end of your autoexec and make sure your configuration is not set read-only.The command overwrites any cvar in config.cfg with those in autoexec.cfg when autoexec is run.Do not set a startup option + exec autoexec.cfg,autoexec is still loaded.Right now,this seems to be the only method to get your autoexec working permanently.

+ cl_forcepreload 1

increase FPS by preloading maps (not necessarily faster,it depends on your PC)

-nod3d9ex

makes alt + tab faster

-nojoy

remove the joystick holder [/b]

-console L'

impostazione di questa opzione di avvio aprirà automaticamente la console all'apertura del gioco. -high

Questo avvierà il gioco in modalità ad alta priorità. Questa opzione di avvio può aiutare i giocatori con computer di fascia bassa a ottenere meno lag e qualche fps in più,ma non è una garanzia. Prova questa opzione di avvio,se non noti alcun miglioramento in termini di prestazioni,rimuovi di nuovo questa opzione di avvio.

-threads <numero di core / thread>

These CS:GO Launch Options are helpful for those players that experience FPS under 120, they are the ones who will really feel a difference. The players who as of now have a high FPS won’t see a huge difference and now and again even no difference at all.

Removes joystick support

-full / -fullscreen

This launch option forces the game to run in full-screen mode. The game will ignore this launch option, if -windowed / -window / -SW / -start windowed option is also set.

-windowed / -window / -sw / -startwindowed

This option will force the game to run in windowed mode. Should not be set without -w and -h also being specified. The game will ignore this launch option if the -full / -fullscreen option is also set.

-w <width> / -width <width>
-h <height> / -height <height>
This option forces the game to start with the resolution you specified, e.g., w 1920 -h 1080.

-noborder

Using this launch option will remove the border that Windows puts around the window when it is run in windowed mode.

You should not use this launch option! +mat_disable_fancy_blending
