I was curious where the AI pathing takes the NPCs once they get in a car for these side missions so I followed them.

Turns out they either despawn while driving or drive around randomly.

The pathing also gets stuck if there is the slightest disturbance, resulting in some hilarious driving.

P.S. I spent 30 hours playing side missions without doing a single story quest once I got to Night City.
