First of all I would like to thank everyone who read my article. <3

A few words about why I am creating this guide(s). Path of Exile is my first isometric perspective ARPG hack and slash game. That is, I have never played a Diablo title or similar games before.
First and foremost, I just wanted to play the campaign and unlock all the achievements afterwards. little that i know...

...said and almost done. It has become one of my favorite games. Started with League of Legends in 2013, exhausted because of the salty community. In 2015 actively started with CS:GO and also here very quickly exhausted because of the community. 2016 started just before the end of Essence League and do not regret a minute so far.

What I've really liked about Path of Exile so far is that the community is extremely accommodating and respectful of each other. Also, when you meet people in private life who have played or are still playing Path of Exile, you can really tell one thing. The game has by far one of the cleanest communities.

I could talk a lot more about what I think is so good about this game, but that would be more of a review - so let's talk about options for now. In the future, I'll create guides about smaller sections of the game. To help newcomers get started with PoE in written form....

The Twilight Strand
The Twilight Strand is the starting region in Path of Exile. This is where our character gets stranded after being sent into exile.

This section in the game is at the very beginning and thus it doesn't have countless different layouts. In future guides I will also go into the subject of layouts. So don't get confused with the term "layouts" yet.

The easiest way to overcome The Twilight Strand is to walk along the water. In this section you can not get lost at all, because you actually only run up a "straight" line. In the following screenshot, this is visualized with a line that I drew in with my highly professional Paint skills.

Final
If you have any questions, need advice or even just want to share a success with me. You are very welcome to add me as a friend in Steam. It is advantageous for me if you also leave a comment, so that I can categorize you accordingly in my friends list.

In the next guide, I will talk about the upcoming areas in Act 1.

I also wanted to publish the next acts. Unfortunately, I don't have the time, because I will soon have to submit papers to my university. The Twilight Strand is still very easy to get through. But writing a guide that explains the next acts on a very simple basis without confusing the reader is not easy either. On top of that I want to write guides to the skill tree, but again my goal is to simplify it.
