Lets say you need to pay 100 favor for one recharge of a power.
That would not only mean you had to invest more workforce to replenish your favor, but also decide whether you want myth units or god powers.
Connecting a resource cost is also far better for balancing than a simple timer.
And not only that, timers are for people not knowing it better in terms of design and balancing.
I understand what youre going for but each god power should have a much longer cooldown then
age 4 god powers literally turn the game around depending on which one.
