@Triptez: Since it's a mod it uses the game-engine of Battlefield 2, so the game needs to be installed. They are now using a system of their own called 'PRSpy', which does the same as Gamespy did (also there is another project called 'BF2Hub' which lets you continue to play Battlefield 2)

Okay. Also, with the gamespy shutdown, wouldnt you be able to play PR without having to get BF2 now?

Should I wait for this to come out for free? Or just buy BF2 to play Project Reality now? I really want to play a PR :(

@RayPer: That is correct. The IDF is nice enough to release pictures under a creative commons license ;)
