Welcome home...
Reach the Estate

Complete the tutorial quest.

The end of the first year...
Reach week 52

A week is passed every time you complete or retreat from a quest.

Two years of this...
Reach week 104

Caretaker
Complete all Caretaker Goals

The Caretaker Goals are a list of objectives that can be found by clicking on the scroll icon at the bottom of the screen when in the hamlet. To complete all of them, you will need to raise a hero of each class to maximum level, defeat every boss found at the end of a dungeon, complete the quest Wolves at the Door, and complete every Darkest Dungeon quest. If you have any DLC activated on your estate, these will add additional Caretaker Goals.

Sentimental relics from our forefathers...
Acquire all your Ancestor's Trinkets

There are 14 Ancestral trinkets in total. 9 of them can be obtained as rewards for completing long Champion level dungeons, by finding them as rare loot in Champion level dungeons or by finding them in chests within the Darkest Dungeon. The remaining 5 can only be dropped by the Shambler or by the Shuffling Horror (the first Darkest Dungeon boss).

Victory, such as it is...
Complete the game

Note that this achievement cannot be gained for completing the game on Radiant difficulty.

Entry Level
Complete the game on Radiant

Strict Mode
Complete the game with default difficulty options

This achievement is for completing the game on either 'Darkest' difficulty or Stygian without ever adjusting the gameplay settings. You will also earn the Entry Level achievement at the same time.

World End
Complete the game on Stygian

The hardest difficulty, Stygian, requires you to beat the game within 86 weeks and with fewer than 12 heroes dying. If the Crimson Court DLC is activated, the restrictions are raised to 100 weeks and 16 hero deaths. Final quest spoiler:Remember that you will always lose 2 heroes if you bring a full party to the final Darkest Dungeon quest, meaning the hero deaths restriction is effectively 10 (14 with Crimson Court). Completing the game on Stygian will award you the Entry Level, Strict Mode and In such haste... achievements if you don't already have them.

Note: Playing on Stygian with the Crimson Court activated (Bloodmoon mode) does not require you to also beat the Crimson Court bosses. The restrictions on your estate will be removed after completing the final Darkest Dungeon quest as normal. Therefore, you do not even need to start the Crimson Court content (since it makes the game harder), and can benefit from the less pressing restrictions.

In such haste...
Complete the game within 99 Weeks

For this achievement you need to complete the final Darkest Dungeon mission Hell is in the Heart before the 99th week. Since there are 4 Darkest Dungeon missions, I would recommend starting the first Darkest Dungeon mission on week 94 at the very latest. You have until then to produce a roster of at least 16 Darkest Dungeon ready heroes (since a single hero can only go in once), complete with trinkets.

If you are attempting this on radiant difficulty you CAN send the same heroes on multiple Darkest Dungeon quests (albeit with a little starting stress). Therefore you may need a week of recovery in between each Darkest Dungeon quest to heal off stress. This means that starting on week 90 at the latest would be wise.

Abandon a quest by clicking the X symbol in the top left corner when not in a battle.

A collection of treasured antiques...
Collect at least 30 heirlooms from a single quest

Simply pick up all the heirlooms you find. This might require you to go on a long quest or bring an Antiquarian on a medium length quest (remember to always have the Antiquarian interact with curios). It's best to prioritise crests because they stack up to 12 and will take up less room in your bag.

Greater riches were never witnessed...
Collect at least 20,000 gold from a single quest

This can be done easily by completing a medium or long quest with an Antiquarian, but one certainly isn't required. Just make sure to interact with as many curios as you can to get treasure. If you're close to the end of the quest, throw away supply items in favour of loot. It's also worth always keeping a key on you incase a secret room is scouted (the Puzzling Trapezohedrons found inside are worth 3500 Gold each).

Kill all bosses

I believe the bosses required for this achievement are limited to the bosses listed on the Caretaker's Goals as well as the Brigand Vvulf. It's possible that, if you have either DLC activated, the bosses from those become part of the requirements too. I apologise for the uncertainty.

Four on the Floor
Kill Squiffy Ghast, Swine Skiver, Bone Bearer and Hateful Virago

These 4 enemies can only be found in the level 5 Champion dungeons of each region; Squiffy Ghast in the Cove, Swine Skiver in the Warrens, Bone Bearer in the Ruins and Hateful Virago in the Weald. All of these enemies are nasty enough to prioritise killing over anything else, I hold some resentment for Hateful Virago in particular since she/it will block your healing skills by summoning mushrooms. You only need to kill them all once for this achievement but you will begin to encounter them often.

In Sheep's Clothing
Defeat the brigand Vvulf

You fight the Brigand Vvulf at the end of the quest Wolves at the Door. For this quest to begin you must be past week 40 and have at least 4 level 5 heroes. It may take a while but keep passing the weeks and it will eventually trigger.
Death Related

First party wipe

Lose all 4 heroes on a quest. Apparently you don't actually need to lose 4 heroes, but rather ALL the heroes you left with (e.g if you set out with 2).

Party wipe on a boss

Reach the boss of a dungeon and lose all 4 heroes. Once again, you technically don't need to lose 4 heroes, but rather ALL the heroes you left the hamlet with.

The stresses were unbearable...
Lose your first hero to heart attack

When a hero reaches 200 stress they will suffer a heart attack, putting them to death's door. If they suffer a heart attack while already on death's door, they will die from the heart attack. This should happen to you at least once in your playtime but you could always manipulate it by deliberately not stress healing a hero.

Gnawing hunger sets in...
Lose a hero to hunger

When the party suffers a hunger check with a hero on death's door, and you choose to not feed the party, that hero has a chance of dying. This can easily be manipulated by finishing a battle with a hero on death's door and walking around the dungeon until the next hunger check.

More than a weary traveller...
Walk 500 steps with one hero

Like lambs to the slaughter...
Start a Darkest Dungeon quest with four heroes of resolve level 0

All you need for this is 4 empty slots in your roster. Simply recruit 4 resolve level 0 heroes from the Stagecoach and start a Darkest Dungeon quest. Flee the quest and dismiss the 3 surviving heroes if you wish, or press onwards and earn the Valiant sacrifice... achievement when you inevitably party wipe.

Lone survivor
Kill any boss with only one hero remaining

Ideally, this would happen to you at least once throughout your play through, I can recall it happening at least a couple times for me. If you do need to manipulate this however, simply ready up some disposable heroes for a dungeon with a boss that doesn't have the ability to heal itself (e.g not the Flesh or the Crew). Get said boss to within a single blow of dying, then just start passing turns until 3 of your heroes are dead. Make sure to keep one of your heroes off Death's Door at all times. Finally, kill the boss with a single attack. I can think of some things that could go very wrong but that's the gist of it.

Edit: Apparently simply surviving the Shrieker boss fight with only one hero fulfils the requirements for this achievement. I would recommend taking a single Occultist since they can heal themselves and have high dodge (added +dodge trinkets would be ideal).

Dysfunction
Kill any boss with a party of four afflicted heroes

Get your heroes afflicted by deliberately not stress healing them. Since not all bosses inflict stress damage directly, you want your party to get afflicted before the boss room but preferably as close as possible. If you come across a witch in the final corridor for example, go ahead and stall against her until you have your afflictions. It shouldn't take long. To prevent virtues, bring heroes who are a level lower than the quest's level. I would also recommend doing this on an Apprentice level dungeon with an easy, straightforward boss like the Necromancer.

Edit: You can also bring 4 heroes who are already afflicted to the Shrieker boss fight, and either kill the Shrieker, or and simply survive until the end of round 4 when it flies away.

Twisted and about to break
Complete a dungeon with all 4 heroes afflicted

Deliberately don't stress heal your heroes and stall the fight by passing turns against stress dealers towards the end of the dungeon if you still don't have 4 afflictions. To ensure you don't get a virtue instead of an affliction, take heroes who are one level lower than the quest level. This should give them an 80% chance of getting afflicted. Also, this doesn't necessarily mean you don't need a stress healer, it may be wise to bring one to prevent heart attacks.

What is already Dead Cannot Die
Have a character survive 5 attacks at Death's Door in a single combat

This is possible by pure luck but the best way to go about it would be to buff a hero's Death Blow resistance. It's important to know that the game's cap for Death Blow resistance is 87%. In order to get as close to that as possible:
  • Use a Flagellant, who has the highest base Death Blow resistance in the game at 73%.
  • Make sure your hero doesn't have the negative quirk Weak Grip on Life (-10% Death Blow resist).
  • Give your hero a Martyr's Seal or Tenacity Ring or both if you have them.
  • If using a Flagellant, use his ability Suffer to gain extra Death Blow resistance.
All that's left is to deliberately not heal your hero and stall the fight until they get hit for the 5th time on Death's Door. Remove any blights or bleeds they receive with an Anti-venom or Bandage, these are unnecessary Death's Door checks that don't count as attacks. Remember to stress heal your hero to prevent them from having a heart attack because that will kill them and spoil your attempt.

On the old road, we found redemption.
Dismas and Reynauld Made it to the final Darkest Dungeon Quest

Dismas and Reynauld are the two heroes you start the game with, a Highwayman and Crusader respectively. This achievement requires you to keep them alive all the way until you unlock the final Darkest Dungeon quest: Hell is in the Heart. Since you only need to start the quest with the pair of them to unlock the achievement, in theory you can have them sit safely in your roster for the entire length of the game, as opposed to levelling them up and risking losing them.
Hidden Achievements

That'll do, pig...
Lose a hero to Wilbur

Wilbur is the small swine accomplice of the Swine Prince boss found in the Warrens. Kill the Swine Prince first and then stall the fight until Wilbur kills one of your heroes. The attack he will use, Squeal, does only 1-2 damage so this might take many rounds. For that reason, bring a stress healer to prevent your heroes from dying of hearts attacks.

We return to the worms of the earth...
Lose a hero to a Maggot

Maggots can be encountered in most dungeons but in particular, I tend to find them in the Ruins or the Weald. They usually spawn in groups of 2 or 4 but can sometimes spawn with a Ghoul or Spiders, make sure to kill these first (but perhaps after letting them lower your health a little bit). All you need to do is stall the fight until a maggot kills one of your heroes. This could take quite a while since they do little damage. Their attacks also deal stress damage meaning you should probably bring a stress healer to prevent your heroes from dying of hearts attacks instead.

Blocked from life...
Lose a hero to an obstacle

Clearing obstacles without using a shovel will give your entire party damage and stress damage. If a hero is on Death's Door it has a chance of killing them. The best way to do this would be to scout a battle with an obstacle behind it, finish the battle with a hero on Death's Door (by stalling if necessary), and then clear the obstacle without a shovel. There is a 33% chance your hero will die from it, 43% if they have the negative quirk Weak Grip on Life. If you have the trinkets Gambler's Charm or Book of Holiness, equip them to further increase you chances.

Watch your step...
Lose a hero to a trap

This is quite difficult to do because you need to finish a battle with a hero on Death's Door, then encounter a trap (which don't always show up when you want them) and then rely entirely on RNG. My best advice would be to try to keep a hero on low health for the entire quest and purposely let enemies lower them to Death's Door just before you finish the fight. The best heroes to use here are going to be the ones with low Trap Disarm Chance, this includes the Vestal, Arbalest and Leper. Do not use the Flagellant because his extra Death Blow resistance will make him less likely to die.

Once you come across a trap, have your Death's Door hero try to disarm it. If they fail in disarming the trap, it will trigger on them and there is a 33% chance your hero will die (43% if they have the negative quirk Weak Grip on Life). If you have the trinkets Gambler's Charm or Book of Holiness, equip them to further increase you chances.

Valiant sacrifice...
Lose all four heroes on a Darkest Dungeon quest

This will probably happen to you on your first play through, especially if you go into the Darkest Dungeons blind. If it doesn't, you can always grab 4 disposable heroes from the Stagecoach and see how far you can make it...

Murder of Crows
Kill the Shrieker

There are two issues which make the Shrieker difficult to kill, the fact that it will fly away at the end of the 4th round, ending the fight, and the fact that it has some of the highest dodge of any enemy in the game. My favourite strategy to kill the Shrieker is to run double Occultist and use Vulnerability Hex twice to debuff its dodge. Fill out the other ranks with damage dealer who can make use of the marks and give everyone the best +Accuracy trinkets you have available. It's also worth giving the Occultists a Demon's Cauldron or Debuff Amulet to guarantee a debuff. My composition is usually Arbalest, Occultist, Occultist, Bounty Hunter.

A terrifying figure emerged from the darkness...
Slay a Shambler

The Shambler is a truly nasty boss that can be fought by placing a Torch in a Shambler Altar (the altar with a red orb that spawns in all dungeons). They will also occasionally appear if you travel around a dungeon in complete darkness. A key difficulty with the Shambler fight is that it will constantly shuffle your party, meaning a party composition with high row versatility is essential. I highly suggest not going into a Shambler fight unless you've specifically prepared for it. You can read more about strategy on the WIKI[darkestdungeon.gamepedia.com]

Mine Goes to 11
Kill a Squiffy Ghast with a Jester

The Squiffy Ghast can only be found in Champion level Cove dungeons. Simply lower his health with your other heroes and use your Jester to deal the finishing blow. Interestingly, Squiffy Ghast will only target the Jester while he is alive.
Crimson Court

The Flesh is Willing
Recruit a Flagellant

Enable the Flagellant hero class in your estate's DLC settings and he will show up in the Stagecoach.

Symptoms
Get Infected by the Crimson Curse

Happy Together
Complete your first Trinket set

Trinket sets can be obtained by killing Crimson Court bosses and from certain chests in Crimson Court dungeons. Do not use a Skeleton Key on these special chests as that will replace the trinket with regular loot. There is a set of two trinkets for every hero. This achievement will pop when you obtain your second trinket for any set.

From Rubble To Rabble
Build Your First District Building

Enabling the Districts DLC will give you a blueprint-looking icon in the hamlet. Click on it and build your first District Building. Each building requires a large number of heirlooms and a single Blueprint, which can be obtained as a drop from bosses.

The Red Hook
Build The Red Hook

The Red Hook is a District Building that serves no purpose and costs 50k Gold and 750 Crests to build. On Radiant difficulty, the Gold required is reduced to a mere 25k.

An Unexpected Party
Collect the Invitation

After starting the Crimson Court quest line, the other regions around the Hamlet will gradually become 'infested' and Crimson Court enemies will start to appear. When the infestation level reaches high, a curio called the Throbbing Cocoons will pop up in random corridors. Interact with the cocoons and a Bloodsucker enemy called the Gatekeeper will be summoned (along with some buddies). Kill this Gatekeeper quickly before he flees the battle and he will drop an Invitation to the Courtyard.

If you're wondering how to check the current infestation level, you can do so by hovering over the banner on the far left in the quest selection screen.

Note: For all the Crimson Court bosses it is important to understand that their epic length dungeons are designed to navigated over multiple attempts, hence the ability to gain invitations. The dungeons have a set layout so I have provided links to them below.

Les Jeux Sont Faits
Defeat the Baron

The first Crimson Court boss, the Baron, will summon a group of cocoons at 3 stages throughout his fight. The cocoons hide the Baron and also block you from using any heals. You must attack the cocoons as ignoring them will lead him to summon 3 bloodsuckers at once. Hence it is preferable to attack into them and deal with whatever is underneath one by one. The map to his dungeon can be found HERE[darkestdungeon.gamepedia.com]

Just The Cheque
Defeat the Viscount

The Viscount has very low health but counters that with his ability to heal each round for amounts ranging from annoying to massive. The source of his healing, the 3 hanging bodies he spawns with, have varying amounts of health with the tougher two producing his large heals. Destroying the bodies will prevent him from using them to heal or buff himself. Applying a blight or bleed to a body will also transfer it to the Viscount when he goes to eat it. Find the map to his dungeon HERE[darkestdungeon.gamepedia.com]

Her Last Dance
Defeat the Countess

The Countess will cycle through 3 different forms, each with their own abilities. She will implant a parasite into your heroes that deals heavy damage to them when they attack her (while giving her bonus PROT) and apply a unique DOT effect which will shuffle your party. She also has 3-4 actions per round and more health to chip through than any boss you have faced before. The map to her dungeon can be found HERE[darkestdungeon.gamepedia.com]

Expired
Lose a Hero to Wasting Away From the Curse

A hero with the Crimson Curse will reach a stage known as Wasting if you do not manually give them any of The Blood. The next stage after Wasting is death but as long as you have The Blood in supply, your Wasting heroes will automatically drink some and not die. In order to ensure a Wasting hero dies from their cravings, you should take said hero on a dungeon run and progress into the dungeon without giving them any of The Blood. After a maximum or 61 rounds has passed, they will expire.

Shadows Blur Together
Kill an Ally While Under the Curse

For this achievement I am going to refer you to Francis' guide. Reinforcements can be turned off as the guide suggests by toggling 'Combat Delay Penalties' in the gameplay settings. A forewarning though: do not turn off reinforcements if you have not already got the Strict Mode achievement, doing so will block you from getting it on that estate.

What Strange Bedfellows
Contract the Crimson Curse via Contagion

The Crimson Curse has a chance to spread from infected heroes to healthy heroes if they are placed in the same treatment facility that week. For this achievement you need to deliberately let that happen.

Zealous Accusation
Defeat the Fanatic

When the infestation level of your estate reaches medium or high, a town event will occur announcing the arrival of the Fanatic. From that point onwards, when you take a party with 2 or more infected heroes on a quest, he has a chance of spawning in a random location in the dungeon. There is a 75% chance he will spawn if you start a quest with 4 infected heroes. He will not spawn in boss quests or in the Courtyard however. If he does spawn in a dungeon, there will be a special loading screen before entering. Battle wise, he is quite similar to the Hag. You can read up about strategies to beat him on the WIKI[darkestdungeon.gamepedia.com]

Jailbreak
Rescue someone

In the epic length Crimson Court dungeons, you will occasionally scout a secret room. These secret rooms contain a hero who is being held captive. Enter the secret room and talk to the hero to rescue them and unlock this achievement. The rescued hero will then be available to recruit from the Stagecoach.

Blood Cult
Have Your Entire Roster Affected by the Crimson Curse

I did this with a throwaway estate and you probably should too. The game will become very difficult if all your heroes have the curse. Take those who are not infected to the Courtyard week after week and put anyone left over into the Abbey, Sanitarium or Bar along with an infected hero to contract the disease via contagion. Alternatively, save yourself some time and simply dismiss every hero who isn't infected until only those with the Crimson Curse remain.
Color of Madness

A Taste Of Madness
Complete The First Farmstead Quest

A Merciful Act
Defeat the Miller

Defeat the Miller in the second Farmstead quest. I would recommend bringing level 4 heroes and a Vestal as the healer. The Vestal is important because the Miller will frequently use an attack which hits the whole party, meaning you may need to heal multiple heroes off Death's Door at once. When the Miller summons a Farmhand, he will proceed to transform the Farmhand into a Frozen Farmhand in a later turn. The Frozen Farmhand will permanently guard the Miller and block your heroes from using guard skills. It is therefore a good idea to focus the Farmhand as soon as he is summoned. If the Miller summons other enemies instead, it is worth keeping them alive so he isn't able to summon another Farmhand. Lastly, the Miller does not bleed so don't plan on bringing a Flagellant.

Beyond The Infinite
Defeat The Sleeper

The Sleeper is the second boss you will encounter on any Endless run, at around 75 kills. Its fight has two stages, with you having to defeat the Fracture beforehand. The key to fighting the Fracture is understanding what each colour of Aberration it summons will do. In particular, you should try to focus the red Aberrations which will heal the Fracture. You probably won't have enough actions to focus the other Aberrations while also applying damage to the Fracture but know that the purple Aberrations should be prioritised next as they can stun your entire party. The Fracture sits in position 4 so damage dealers who can focus it there are essential.

Once the Fracture is dead, your fight with the Sleeper will begin. The Sleeper does massive damage and stress damage to the entire party but crucially, it only has a single action per round. As long as you have a Vestal with Divine Comfort, the Sleeper probably won't be able to directly kill any of your heroes as you can keep pulling them all off Death's Door before it attacks again. The Sleeper can kill your heroes indirectly by causing them to have a heart attack if you can't manage the stress damage it deals. It can also inflict a potentially deadly blight but if your heroes are Resolve level 6 they will usually resist it. The Sleeper will blight very easily and bleed if you have a high bleed chance. Read more about strategy on the WIKI[darkestdungeon.gamepedia.com]

There Are No Words
Defeat the Thing From The Stars

The Thing from The Stars is a roaming boss that can be found in a random region each week; which region he's in is shown on the map. If you go on a quest in that region, there is a 50% chance he will spawn into the dungeon, lurking somewhere in a corridor. The Thing will gain a huge amount of PROT when you lower his health below 45%, therefore I would highly recommend that your main damage dealers be Shieldbreakers (Pierce), Grave Robbers (Pick to the Face) or both. You can also counter his PROT by using DOTs since the Thing both bleeds and blights. He will use an ability to cure his DOTs however, so make sure that your bleeding or blighting heroes have high speed so they can apply them at the start of the round. Finally, all of the Thing's attacks inflict stress damage so don't forget a stress healer.

Blue Skies Ahead
Use The Shard Dust Provision

Shard Dust can be purchased in the Provisions menu for 3 Comet Shards each. Shard Dust is used to refresh a hero's limited-use skills during a fight (e.g the Jester's Finale). It also gives the hero a small buff, debuff and an amount of stress that increases with each time it is used.

The Blinders Are Lifted
Gain the Refracted Affliction

The Color of Madness DLC adds a new Affliction called Refracted. This Affliction can be gained in the same way as any other Affliction but only by heroes who have been to the Farmstead previously. Additionally, when you lose a hero in the Farmstead instead of dying they will appear back in the hamlet the following week with the Refracted Affliction, granting you this achievement.

A Poor Harvest
All 4 Heroes Dodge the Miller's Reaping

The Miller's Reaping does too much damage for you comfortably wait for the perfect RNG roll of 4 dodges. For that reason you're going to want to equip your heroes with the absolute best +dodge trinkets you have. Personally, I gave everyone a single Camouflage Cloak and my Vestal (with the weakest base dodge) the Ancestors Jacket on top of that.

Time Is A Flat Circle
Kill the Sleeper's Herald With a Riposte

Lower the Sleeper's Herald's health with a weak attack if you can. Have two riposte characters at the front and constantly keep riposte up. Focus on killing the other enemies and eventually the Sleeper's Herald will attack into your riposte and die.

Rainbow's End
Lose a Hero Equipped with the Coat of Many Colors

The Coat of Many Colors is a Crystalline trinket that can be purchased from the Jeweller for 180 Shards. I tried starting Endless Mode with a single hero equipped with the Coat to get this achievement but for some reason it did not work. Sacrificing a single hero in a normal dungeon did give me the achievement however. You can get the coat back by fighting the Shrieker afterwards.

Pipe Dream
Lose a Hero Equipped with the Miller's Pipe

This achievement works in exactly the same way as with the Coat of Many Colors above.
Color of Madness

This Is Nothing
Get 100 Kills

A Hollow Reckoning
Get 200 Kills

Ashes To Ashes
Get 300 Kills

Going for this achievement is quite a serious commitment given that it will take you over 2 hours to get anywhere close to 300 kills and it will also require many attempts and learning from your past attempts. Once you surpass 200 kills, a 'Reflection' effect will be applied on top of existing Light conditions, making things even more challenging. These Reflections debuff your party in various ways and buff the enemies at the same time. I suggest reading up about strategy on the WIKI[darkestdungeon.gamepedia.com]

Tears Lost In The Dust
Acquire Mildred's Locket Trinket

Mildred's Locket can be obtained when you first encounter Mildred. Mildred takes the form of a curio and can spawn in rooms in Endless Mode before the Miller fight.

Plowshares To Swords
Reach Death's Door From Farmhand's Riposte

When both a Farmhand and a Foreman are present, the Foreman will use Stir The Rabble at the beginning of every round, giving the Farmhand riposte. Keep the hero you intend to get this with at very low health until you encounter both a Farmhand and Foreman (it's definitely worth using another hero to guard them for security). Wait until the Foreman uses Stir The Rabble and then attack the riposted Farmhand with your low HP hero. Make sure the attack you use against the Farmhand is a weak one that won't kill him before he can riposte.

Lining the Jeweller's Pockets
Earn 200 Shards In One Endless Run

Just take all the Shards you find in the rooms between waves and from defeating bosses. How soon you can rack up 200 depends on your luck, but know that you will always find 200 Shards if you keep going. For me, this was around the 150 kills mark, with encountering a couple of the Gleaming Shards curios (the barrels) which award 5-15 shards.

There are some things you can do to boost the amount of Shards you earn but they may negatively affect your ability to progress in the Farmstead. These are equipping the Crystal Pendant and Cluster Pendant trinkets (at the expense of combat based trinkets) and bringing an Antiquarian for +15% Shards earned (I wouldn't recommend this). Although quite a rare occurrence, there is also a random town event called The Lights which doubles any amount of Shards you earn that week, which is undoubtedly the best time to go for this achievement.

On an Endless Mode run, you will always first encounter the Miller and then the Sleeper. After that you will begin to encounter random bosses from a set pool; this pool of bosses includes the wandering bosses the Shambler, the Collector, the Shrieker and the Thing From The Stars. For this achievement, you need to kill each of these wandering bosses on at least one occasion in Endless, not all on the same run.

In The Mouth of Madness
Defeat the Sleeper With 2 Afflicted, 2 Virtuous Heroes

Provided you don't get screwed over by RNG, this achievement is actually quite easy. Take your favourite party on an Endless run but replace one hero's trinkets with the Ancestor's Tentacle Idol and a Hero's Ring. This gives them a 70% chance of receiving a virtue. Play as normal but try not to stress heal the hero with the Virtue trinkets. While you're doing this, be sure to stress heal the other heroes to prevent them from gaining Afflictions. When you reach a room in between waves, switch out the Virtue trinkets to whichever hero has the highest stress. Once a hero has surpassed 100 stress and gained a Virtue, switch the Virtue trinkets to whichever other hero has the highest stress (this can only be done inside rooms). I would recommend trying to get your Virtues as soon as possible. To do this efficiently, you might need to reduce your designated hero's crit (I took off my trinkets and stopped using Battle Ballad). A bonus tip would be to start the quest with a hero on very high stress, Virtue trinkets equipped. That way, you can get your first Virtue almost immediately.

If all goes as planned, you should reach the Sleeper battle with 2 Virtuous heroes and the 2 other heroes on relatively low stress. Fight the Sleeper as normal until you can finish him within a single turn and then stall until the stress damage he deals gives your other 2 heroes Afflictions. You should be able to stall for at least a few rounds by using the Vestal's Divine Comfort to keep everyone off Death's Door. Remember to use your Holy Water to prevent heroes from gaining a deadly blight as you're doing this. Finish the Sleeper off as soon as you gain the 2 Afflictions. Throughout all this, remember to always stress heal your Virtuous heroes if they begin to rack up stress (once heroes reach 200 stress they will lose their Virtue).

A Memory Of Better Times (And Spaces)
Build the Windmill

The Windmill is a Districts Building that permanently stops your party from receiving hunger checks. It requires a whopping 10 Memories to build. A Memory is dropped every time you kill the Sleeper so this achievement effectively requires you to kill the Sleeper 10 times. You can also get Memories as a drop from the Thing From The Stars but this is quite rare so I wouldn't recommend grinding it.

Shards Well Spent
Collect All of Color of Madness Trinkets

Buying all the Crystalline trinkets will cost you 2065 Shards. You will gain a large amount of these for beating the Sleeper ten times and also when attempting the other Color of Madness achievements. If after that you still need more Shards, you can equip the Crystal Pendant and Cluster Pendant (since you need to buy them anyway) and farm Shards in Endless. These trinkets boost the amount of Shards you earn. Bringing an Antiquarian on your run will also increase the amount of Shards you earn by 15%, provided you can make it work with your party composition. Note: you need to have all the trinkets in your inventory at the same time for this achievement.
Butcher's Circus
Note: As far as I am aware, almost all of the Butcher's Circus achievements can be earned by playing against an AI in the practice match mode. The notable exceptions are Crowd Pleaser, which requires you to earn Prestige which is not awarded from practice matches, and Taking All Challengers, which cannot be earned because the AI always uses the same four heroes.

Scare Tactics
Cause an enemy hero to have a heart attack

Some attacks in Butchers Circus inflict added stress to enemy heroes, eventually causing them to heart attack. You can cause your first heart attack quickly in a practice match. I recommend using a Hellion and an Occultist together to inflict high amounts of stress. Equip the bonus stress damage trinkets Carnival Masque and Rotting Trophy on the Hellion, both are available from the get go. The Occultist uses Stygian Embrace on the Hellion which increases her stress damage by 50%, the Hellion then uses Terrifying Yawp to deal 37 stress apiece to the front 2 rows. Keep inflicting stress until an enemy hero reaches 200 and receives a heart attack.

Taking All Challengers
Kill each hero class in the Butcher's Circus

Simply kill every type of hero on one occasion. People do use all the hero classes in Butcher's Circus so this isn't that difficult. You could always have a friend run a certain hero in the Duelling Grounds if there's one you're missing.

Mono et Mono
Win a match in the duelling grounds

This means winning a private match against someone on your Steam friends list. If you don't know anyone who plays the game, I'm sure you can post on the Community Forum and find someone!

Bright Lights
Daze 10 enemies in the Butcher's Circus

Certain attacks in Butcher Circus now cause the 'dazed' debuff. Dazed heroes cannot go before heroes who are not dazed, so it is effectively like them having very low speed. Attacks that daze enemies include: Man at Arm's Rampart, Bounty Hunter's Uppercut, Plague Doctor's Disorienting Blast, Vestal's Mace Bash and Shieldbreaker's Captivate.

Shouting Match
Win a match using ONLY stress against your enemies

This can very easily be done in a practice match with a composition of: Vestal, Occultist, Man at Arms, Hellion. The goal here is to not use any moves that inflict physical damage and instead spam Terrifying Yawp and Bellow to inflict stress damage, hence the name Shouting Match. The Occultist is there for his bonus stress damage buff (Stygian Embrace), and the Vestal is there to keep everyone alive while they're shouting. Remember to equip all your bonus stress damage trinkets beforehand.

Devil's Luck
Have a hero survive 5 death's door checks in a single match

What you need to do here is run a Flagellant with the best +Deathblow resistance trinkets available, get him to Death's Door, continuously use Suffer to gain added Deathblow resistance and leave the rest to RNG. If you plan to do this in practice mode, you MUST kill the enemy Bounty Hunter and Houndmaster before lowering the Flagellant to Death's Door. They both have bonus Deathblow chances from their trinkets and abilities that will skew your chances dramatically.

The Prestige level 66 trinket Last Breath Collar has +12% Deathblow resist and would make this considerably easier but I was able to do it with the free ones: Ankh of Life and Bloodstained Gambeson (+12% resistance combined).

MVP
Have a single hero deal deathblows to 4 enemies in a single match

Quite doable in normal matches with some luck or cheesed in practice mode. Remember that heroes cannot die to DOTS in Butcher's Circus so you're safe to use any means to get the enemy heroes to Death's Door and then have your designated hero finish them off. Remember to give the designated hero The Finisher trinket for bonus Deathblow chance.
Butcher's Circus

One and Done
Kill an enemy hero in the first round of a match

Another one that can cheesed in the practice mode. Take a Grave Robber, a Bounty Hunter and 2 damage dealers (preferably an Arbalest or Musketeer). Equip the Grave Robber with The Finisher trinket and an accuracy trinket, give your damage dealers damage trinkets and accuracy trinkets if you think they need them. With luck, you will lose the coin toss so the enemy heroes don't get bonus dodge. Either way, use the Bounty Hunter's Marked For Death to reduce the enemy Houndmaster's Death Blow resistance by 30% (I chose to focus the Houndmaster because of his low health). Next attack the Houndmaster with your damage dealers until he is at Death's Door; an Arbalest/Musketeer is great here because he is already marked. Finally, use the Grave Robber's Lunge (+20% Death Blow chance) to Deathblow the poor Houndmaster. If you don't get a Deathblow or if something goes wrong, you can simply surrender and try again.

Pacemaker
Have a single hero survive 4 heart attacks in a single match

I did this in the practice mode but it's quite tricky. What you need is a stalling party with 3 healers and a Flagellant. The composition I used was: Vestal, Occultist, Crusader, Flagellant. The objective is to have the Flagellant build up stress by using Endure, cause him to heart attack, and then immediately heal him off of Death's Door with one of the healers. With the Monkey's Paw trinket equipped, the Flagellant can gain 22 stress each round. Make sure you do not cause a heart attack with Endure if the Flagellant is already on Death's Door, this will kill him. There is a possibility that an enemy hero finishes the Flagellant off before you can heal him which would be unfortunate; I had him survive 2 Death's Door checks in my attempt. Giving him a +Deathblow resist trinket as well would be about to the best you can do to prevent this.

Naked and Unafraid
Win a match without using any trinkets

Simply don't equip any trinkets. I did this in the tutorial battle but it can easily be done in a practice match.

Blood Soaks the Sand
Win 100 matches in the Butcher's Circus

Be Still My Heart!
Cause 150 heart attacks in the Butcher's Circus

You're probably going to need to run a stress damage build to rack up this many heart attacks. Experiment with the various stress-dealing heroes: Man at Arms with Bellow, Grave Robber with Stress Darts, Hellion with Terrifying Yawp, and so on.

Blood Flood
Kill 600 enemies in the Butcher's Circus

To put this into perspective, 600 kills works out to 150 wins (enemy party wipes). Enemy heroes that heart attack when your opponent surrenders do not count.

Crowd Pleaser
Reach the max Prestige level in the Butcher's Circus

There are 75 Prestige levels, and the amount of Prestige needed to level up increases with each level. There is no way to lose Prestige and you gain it even when you lose a match so this achievement is nothing but a long grind.

Flawless Execution
Win any 10 matches without losing any heroes

AKA a flawless victory, which awards 15 Prestige points.

Fairly certain you can get it from doing practice matches, since it counts for the other similar achievements.

the Blood soaks the sand achievement, does it count with tutorial, practice or dueling grounds matches?

I added that in thanks :)

I don't know if someone already said this but you can complete the achievement of killing a boss with 4 afflicted heroes by facing 4 heroes who have obtained afflictions in a past mission against the Shrieker. You don't even have to kill him. It also works for the achievement of a solo surviving hero. You just have to send the hero alone to the fight and make sure he survives all 4 rounds.

Theres some sort of glitch with crowd pleaser if you play offline. Not sure how but i managed to get only doing the circus when the event came up.

Oh yeah that's true. I guess you would need to let the enemies be healed between heart attacks so they don't die from them. But otherwise you could heart attack them over and over again. It sounds like a good method.

oh sorry I meant that a heart attack without a death counts so you can up the achievement score by repeatedly heart attacking the same enemy over and over
