1. What to do after round start?
After you spawn, there will be a lot of pepole fighting for loot, including you.

The very first thing you wanna find is a keycard (Later I'll tell you which keycard does what). You can find it in those places:
  • PC room (Scientist keycard, if cabinets spawn there can be a Zone manager keycard)
  • WC room (Scientist keycard or/and janitor keycard.)
  • SCP-372 (GR 18)
  • SCP-173's room (PT 00, just before his containment door)
  • SCP-012 (Zone manager keycard, you need a Euclid level keycard to open it)

While searching for the keycard, you should also look for a weapon (COM-15 pistol).
You can find it in:
  • SCP-372 (in the glass box)
  • SCP-012 (need a level Euclid keycard)
  • WC room (in the male section)
  • SCP-173 (in a small room next to the stairs)

Remember! You probably have around 3-5 minutes before SCPs find Light Containment Zone, Try to be in a group after looting to avoid dying.
2. How do keycards work?
If you know how keycards work you can skip this section.

Ok, if you're new to the game you may be asking yourslef some questions:
What type of keycard should I get?
Why do I need a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapon?

Ok, so keycards work this way:

^^^You should see that if you hover over your inventory. Every card will look different. In this image you can see the O5, the strongest keycard in the game.

Notice these icons? Well, let's see what do they do.

- That means that this keycard can open doors to SCP's classified as Safe. As of writting this guide, the only safe SCP is 914. (every keycard has acces to Safe objects.)

- It means that this keycard can acces doors to SCP's classified as Euclid. As of writting this guide, those are the only Euclid level doors: SCP-012 and SCP-096's chamber.

- This means that you can open doors for Keter classed SCPs. As of writting this guide those are the only doors: SCP-106's and SCP-079's chamber

- This means that a keycard can open gates to the surface. (Gate A & B)

- This means that your keycard can open and activate the Warhead Control Room on the surface.

- Access to the Light Containment Zone Armory, Ammunition room in the Heavy Containment Zone.

- Access to the armory at SCP-049's chamber, Alpha Warhead's Armory in Heavy Containment Zone, unlocking Generators.

- Acces to Micro HID.

- Opens the Checkpoints in the Light Containment Zone to the Elevator Systems and between the Heavy Containment Zone to the Entrance Zone.

- Allows access to the Intercom Room in the entrance zone.
3. Getting out of LCZ.
Ok, so what do you do when you get a keycard? (If you dont have a keycard, refer to the SCP-079 is in 914 part of this section.)

There are multiple ways to exit LCZ, but the most popular method is to get to 914 and upgrade your keycard so you can leave.

Though sometimes this just isn't an option. If you enter 914 and the camera above the door on the inside is shining blue instead of red, get the out of there. That is a sign of SCP-079's presence.
Even though he isn't dangerous on it's own, it can open doors. So almost every round with SCP-079 will end with all SCPs storming 914 after the PC opens it.

There, again are 2 scenarios:

1. SCP-079 is not in 914.
That is the best thing that can happen to you. Depending on your keycard, there are the fastest ways to upgrade a keycard to the O5 level (All Access Card).

^photo from SCP:SL fandom wiki[scp-secret-laboratory-official.fandom.com]

Your goal is to upgrade the keycard as fast as you can and get out using the exits, then look at Navigating HCZ Section (If you don't feel safe you can visit the LCZ armory (##00)).

1. SCP-079 is in 914.

Ok, so this one is harder. The thing I usually do depends on my situation:

Do I have a Zone Manager Keycard?
Yes: Get out of LCZ ASAP, look at Navigating HCZ Section.
No: Check the next question.

Do I have a Scientist Keycard?
Yes: Check SCP-012's chamber, there is a chance that no one visited it before and the Zone Manager Keycard will be laying there. If the card is there get out of LCZ ASAP, look at Navigating HCZ Section.
No: Hide. The best hiding spots are: SCP-173's chamber, PC room, Airlock, D-Class cells.

Waiting Out
Ok, so now you're hidden in one of those spots. I know this may sound boring but you need to wait out the chaos happening in LCZ right now. If you hear the SCPs killing people it's best to wait for around 2-3 minutes. After that, safely make your way to 914 to loot the bodies. There is a big chance that you will find a keycard of any kind. If you do find a keycard refer to the SCP-079 is not in 914 part of this section. If you don't have a keycard look at the No Keycard part of this section.

No Keycard
This is the hardest bit, If you fail to find any keycard, you need to find an exit.

^^^You need to pay attention to this timer. When it reaches 30 seconds the exits will open and you will need to ride the elevator down to the HCZ. Then look at Navigating HCZ Section.
4. Navigating HCZ
Congratulations, you made it trough the LCZ!
I'm going to present some scenarios of how you got there. Choose one that fits your situation:

1. Upgraded your card to O5.
2. Used your Zone Manager Keycard.
3. Decontamination.

1. Upgraded your card to O5.
This is the best scenario when it comes to survival chance.
You need to find the Entrance Zone checkpoint while also avoiding SCPs (try to collect any SCP item you see, they are in small glass boxes (Most useful is the hat)), then refer to Navigating Entrance Zone section. .
Optional: You can go to Warhead or SCP-049's chamber to arm yourself. This may come in handy if MTF spawn.
If you have a weapon, don't hold it unless needed. If 1 Facility Guard comes to you, fake a surrender. When he pulls out the disarmer, take out your weapon and kill him. (If there are more than 1 guard it's best to escape).

2. Used your Zone Manager Keycard,
This is not the best situation nor the worst. Your primary goal is to reach SCP-096's chamber.

^^^that's 096's chamber.
Since 096 is a euclid class SCP, you can't open this door with your Zone Manager Keycard. You'll need to use a Scientist Keycard. If you don't have one, you can find it in the Servers Room (on the bottom & upper floor).

If no one visited this place, you should find a Lieutenant keycard. Then you need to find the Entrance Zone checkpoint while also avoiding SCPs (try to collect any SCP item you see, they are in small glass boxes (Most useful is the hat)), then refer to Navigating Entrance Zone section.

If 096's chamber has been raided
Well, you have three options:
1. Come back to 914 and upgrade your card.
2. Wait for Chaos Insurgency to arrive
3. Try to loot dead bodies, there might be the Lieutenant keycard you were looking for.

No matter if the card was there or not, move on to the Navigating Entrance Zone section

^^^Entrance Zone Checkpoint
5. Navigating Entrance Zone
If you came here using your O5 or Lieutenant keycard you can skip this part
Depending on your situation you will need to adopt a different strategy.
1. MTF Spawned.
Wait in HCZ for SCPs to kill the MTF soliders. After that try to loot their bodies for weapons, keycards. After that continue to the Navigating Entrance Zone part of this section.
2. CI Spawned.
Thank god for that. Navigate your way to the Checkpoint and wait for them to come and rescue you.
After that Navigate to the Outside section.

Navigating Entrance Zone
There isn't so much to say for EZ if I'm honest. Look for Gate B or A, if there are SCPs in Entrance Zone, try to avoid them.
Depending on your arrival time, you might get to the Gates without any MTF or CI in the facility. If you manage to get to the gates before anything spawns, navigate to the Outside section.
However, If anything spawns, look below.
1. CI Spawned.
Thank god for that. Navigate your way to Gate A and wait for them to come and rescue you.
After that Navigate to the Outside section.
2. MTF Spawned
That is really bad. If that happens retreat to HCZ and Hide. Try to wait for SCPs to kill MTF, and after some time go back to Entrance Zone and try to escape, If there are any MTF in the way, kill them.
Alternative way: If you found the hat (SCP-268) and you are relatively close to Gate B, move on to the Outside section

^^^Gate A

^^^Gate B
6. Outside
Again, depending on your method of arrival, you need to chose a scenario.

1. On your own.
2. With CI help.

1. On your own.
Check if there is a helicopter outside, If there is, go back to Navigating Entrance Zone and follow the instructions for MTF Spawned (of course the second one on the bottom).
Alternative way: If there is a helicopter and you have SCP-268 (the hat) you can put it on (PUT IT AFTER MTF SPAWNS, OR ELSE THEY WILL KNOW YOU'RE STILL THERE). Then just run past them to your way to freedom. (Note: Upon any user interaction (except moving) the hat effect will dissappear)
2. With CI help.
Just let them escort you to the escape zone.

^^^ escape zone
7. The End
Thanks for reading my guide.
I'd really appreciate if you would like and favorite the guide.
That would mean a lot to me.

Not-Skill Issue Mar 21, 2022 @ 7:14am
plus if you dont have keycard, find gate ASAP, camp there, 50/50 chance SCPS wont realize you there, after they openned the gate, wait for them to go further ad before the gate auto closed, sprint toward the gate and boom, you escaped LCZ without any keycard, and HCZ? be stealthy, ghost, dont trust guards, escape from them if you have the chances, and make sure to loot their dead bitten body for guard keycard, this is where it gets tricky, after you avoided scps and guard in HCZ, open the gate, and run bcz of the loud noise, run, dont hide yet, they can spectate you, and NFT unit has spawned, then you can hide, wait until ur sure none of them or less of them are in Entrance Zone, dash to the gate, get in elevator, hide beside it, there are some remaining ntf up there, if theres none, you know what to do
Not-Skill Issue Mar 21, 2022 @ 7:09am
even CI isnt safe anymore bcz scps might working with them, plus be in a group will reduce you from being bitten or killed by scps if you stay middle of the group, however, it increases the chance of being found out by scps and guards
Best course of action: avoid any interacton with living being, do not trust anyone, not even the CI or the D class, you can count on 079 too if you sure they wont tell ur location to other scps.
Do Not Trust Anyone, Be a Ghost, Be Stealthy, CAMP
