I understand. I'll try it anyway to see if it works. Thanks for your work on this excellent mod. It's a shame Paradox didn't include the possibility of restoring the Western Roman Empire before restoring a united Roman Empire.

@CA[1stNC-E]Pfc.OrryMain as I've said in the disclaimer section of the mod's description - WRR was NOT tested with other mods and is NOT intended to be used with other mods. Have that in mind if you happen to encounter any bugs while playing WRR with other mods.
As 1356 adds a ton of stuff that would interfere with WRR, WRR is not compatible with 1356.

It's compatible with 1356 mod?

@TIBERIUS EQUITIUS GRACCHUS Soissons is a playable tag that represents a revolt of Gallo-Romans when you choose to restore the Carolingian Empire as the Gallic Empire - it spawns in an event and you can choose to play it. It's supposed to represent the Gallo-Romans refusing to embrace the heritage of Charlemagne and you can play as them. Soissons (Domain of Syagrius) even has their own decision to restore the Western Roman Empire. Gosh I gotta return to making this mod eh. Also be sure to join the Discord :)

@Aero I think it'd be kinda hard to make this mod compatible with Extended Timeline as WRR changes a lot of files. The mod originated as my own experiment with modifying the Extended Timeline mod, but then I quickly decided to make a standalone mod and not a sub-mod to ET. I might consider making a semi-WRR submod for ET, but as of now I lack both the time and motivation.

I noticed in the files there's mention of a Soissons tag, but there doesn't seem to be any way to form it. At least from what I could find looking in the decisions file.

Was Soissons supposed to be some sort of intermediary formable you create before you get up to forming the Gallic Empire?

@marco_bitti1983 any nation in latin culture group which owns Rome, Milan and Ravenna. If you own any of these the decision to reform West Rome will be visible. I personally recommend either Florence or Milan, as they are powerful and close to the provinces needed to reform WRE, or Montferrat which has a small mission tree aimed at reforming West Rome.
