Stuttering and framedrops fix with DXVK

The newest and most effective way to improve performance of the game.
The game if playble now, but with a lot of annoyng framedrops. This guide will help you fix this.

Works on any GPUs that supports Vulkan API. You can find the full list by yourself of check my short list in the end of this guide.

QUICK GUIDE

1. Download the archive "dxvk-1.7.3.tar.gz" (actual version at the moment) and
https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases

2. Unpack the files "d3d9.dll", "dxgi.dll" from the "x32" (NOT x64!!!) folder to "...\Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher Enhanced Edition\System" (steam version game path)

3. PROFIT

FULL GUIDE

1. Download the last version of DXVK Wrapper (dxvk-1.7.3.tar.gz at the moment)
https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases.

2. Unpack the files "d3d9.dll", "dxgi.dll" from the "x32" (NOT x64!!!) folder

3. Copy both the files "d3d9.dll", "dxgi.dll" to "System" folder in the gamepath:
...\Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher Enhanced Edition\System (for Steam version)

Your API will identified as Vulkan if everything is done correctly. As a result you will have fps boost even in pretty laggy locations. I have a screenshot of one such one:

SHORT LIST OF SUPPORTED GPUs

NVidia:
Any GTX 6xx and newer.
Any mx9xx and newer.

AMD:
Any HD 7000/HD 7000m (HD 7730 and newer)
Any R5/R7/R9 GPUs
Any RX series

Most of Intel Skylake integrated GPUs (and newer) or AMD FX GPUs (and newer) supports it too.

1. DXVK may at first be laggy as it builds shader cache, it is normal - the more you play the smoother it will become.

2. It looks like the wrapper is not supported by multigpu for now. Anyway, "The Witcher" is not supports it by itself proreply.

DXVK improves performance not only The Witcher, but a pretty large bunch of old games. It works great on Titan Quest:AE and GTA IV. Some people say it heples with old TES games and even Assasins Creed: Odyssey.

Yep, it may really take a lot of effort to set up in some cases.

Causes lots of crashes on my system in heavily populated areas, improved fps by 5 in some areas and 20 in others. Not worth the install imho
