Canadian Pacific AC4400CW No. 9567

Canadian Pacific are one of the more prominent operators of the General Electric AC4400CW locomotive, with 438 of them on their roster.

9567 is one of those CP locomotives, and I chose this particular engine because she has the same number as a diesel locomotive in New Zealand. This locomotive is DL 9567, and she was built in 2018 for service with KiwiRail.

As for the Canadian 9567, she was built in October 1995, and has spent the majority of her life running in Canada (as one would expect from a CP locomotive). However, in 2013 and 2014, CP 9567 was leased to Burlington Northern Santa Fe in the United States - presumably - to help with a motive power shortage, but I don't know for certain.

As of 2017, G.E. AC4400CW No. 9567 is running with Canadian Pacific again. She is currently painted in the 'two flags' version of CP Action Red, which has a merger of the U.S. and Canadian flags.
