How to play CS:GO Beta 2011 version

So you want to experience how CSGO was back in 2011? Read this guide then.

Difference

A big difference from the CS:GO we all love and know today, no skins, floppy gameplay and basically made for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Most of the community back then didn't really appreciate the game either, because it did not look like the predecessors at all, with new player models, new weapons, buy menu etc. The game did not look like CS... But no one knew that this would be the game that gathered both the 1.6 and Source community.

Things to notice while you play

Notice how different some of the weapons look, for example the ak-47 looks like it came straight out of the factory. Also notice how long the flashbang will last you blind just like in 1.6 and Source. Molotov got by far more damage range than today, the old voice commands made by Jess Cliffe etc.

Another funny thing is that you will have "flip" knife as standard knife on terrorists and "bayonet" as standard on counter-terrorists.

Unpack the archive anywhere on your hard drive and launch the batch file that suits you the most, or launch the .exe file with the parameters that you require.
