Report a translation problem
The only thing I might change is the artifact. I feel like this is a good opportunity to make a character based around a fragile build since the knife is a starting item. Perhaps something like the Beaker or Glass Canon artifact to make use of the knife spell early on.
Plus the fragile build would make a good reference to the glass equipment from Crypt of the Necrodancer. Heck maybe even a unique Glass Armor artifact that negates the damage of the first hit of a battle, but leaves you on fragile after. Or call it Glass Equipment or Armory that negates damage from the first hit while also increasing all damage output until then, but leaves you with a stack of three fragile after, thus rewarding flawless battles far more while punishing mess ups
Or perhaps to emphasize the shovel, the artifact could be like the Moonstone or Granite, though both would be a bit OP in the early game and would need something to balance them.
