Guide 8: Oil Resource

In this guide we will take a closer look at oil and its importance in Warplan. In it, we will look at oil point production and imports, upkeep and stockpile and how they are calculated and used.

Section 1: Oil in Warplan v0.081

When it comes to oil, especially for the Axis, there are always a lot of questions. Hopefully this guide helps with some of them.

In this guide I will show you:

1) How oil points are calculated per turn
2) How upkeep is calculated per turn.
3) How stockpile is calculated per turn
4) How stockpile oil is used for air, armor, mech movements and attack.
5) How upkeep is used with fleets at sea.
6) Techniques for saving oil points per turn:
a) end land movement on rail or port
b) move air and land units by rail
c) move ships from port to port
7) Show the impact of not having oil in your stockpile, its negative effects.
a) air units cant fly
b) mech and armor not as effective.
